The Play, the Potluck, and the Cast Party

Here's the exciting story of the play, the 'potluck', and the cast party.

The Potluck
- Okay, so there was this "potluck". I was told about it when we were in the changing room getting into our costumes before the actual show, before green room, before everything. It was going to be during intermission in the girls' dressing room. From the way people talked about it (nonchalantly), I figured that it was fine with the directors and stuff. I also was told to stay in my spot after the bows and stuff, because everyone was going to present the co-directors, the costume ladies, and the student director with flowers in front of the audience.
- Well, come to find out in the middle of the first half that it was TOTALLY not okay with the directors, because everyone was whispering and talking about how much trouble they (NOT me. Not a chance.) would be in if they got caught. Come intermission, everyone rushed to the dressing room except for the smart people (including me, Brynn, Katie V., and Allison B.), who stayed in the backstage holding room.
- A few minutes through, I went into the dressing room later, because I'd forgotten my hair clip (and noticed during the last song of first act. I know, I'm so observant.) and had to get it from my bag. There was a circle of girls, mostly popular ones but some not-so-popular ones, each with a HUGE bag of chips, cookies, candy, and even a few people with actual JARS of frosting. I almost barfed right there. So I got my hair clip and went back to the H.R., where I told Katie about what I saw. She gagged just hearing about it.
- Then Katie and I went down to the costume room to get one of her buttons fixed. Yay, super-important. Then we went back to the H.R. to told everyone else, and Robyn (this REALLY annoying girl) was like "Oh em gee! I am telling MaryJane about this." And then she walked out of the room, and I came with. Turns out that she ran into Stephanie (the other costume lady) first, and she spilled the beans, with me adding details every few words. Then Stephanie went down the hallway, we went back to the H.R. to wait it out, and the "lookout" for the dressing room totally freaked out and ran into the room.
- Well, they hid all the food (really badly) and said that they were "practicing the songs" when they were asked why they were all in there. Stephanie didn't buy it, but no one got in all that much trouble. Later on, I heard that MaryJane thought that they were doing drugs! xD
- Anyway, then Kelsey (another really annoying girl, who's practically glued to my side most of the time) comes into the H.R. and goes, "Oh gosh, I hope I don't get in trouble for the potluck. I had like one chip." She looked really worried. I almost fell down laughing. When I'd walked in to get my clip, her mouth had been absolutely exploding with a variety of things, and she'd been reaching into a huge bag of Oreos as she munched. So I told her what I saw, she denied it (of course), and we finished the second half. All was normal.
The Cast Party
- After the bows and the flower-giving and stuff, we all ran to the dressing room, changed at the speed of light so that we could get to the cast party. The idiots who started the potluck were still gourging themselves. When everyone FINALLY cleaned up (including a trio of really dumb sixth graders who decided to go get a 20 minute-long drink right when the directors were coming in to check that we were cleaned up), we went to the lunchroom to get started.
- We all ate 2 pieces of this REALLY good pizza, drank about 4 cans of Mtn Dew each, then got up to dance. We danced for a while, did "trivia questions" (I got a $10 DQ gift card for answering "How many holes does a 10-pin bowling pin have?" I mean, no DUH!!), and finally -- FINALLY!! - did mock awards.
The Mock Awards
Mock Awards are basically these little tiny pieces of colored paper with a random thing about you on them. (A few examples: Robyn was "Hyper Honey", Kelsey was "Tag-along" [HECK YES!!!!], and Brynn was "Look-alike Lady" [because of her older bro, Bryce, who was the lead last year.]) I got "One-Hat Wonder", because I wore my hat to almost every practice. I knew it was going to be about that hat... I knew it!! xD No, literally, right when they started the Mock Awards I whispered to Katie, "Watch mine be like "Hat Girl" or something." Anyway, they were really fun.

And that's pretty much it... I stayed at the party until about 2am or so, when they all but kicked us out the door. Katie went home at midnight, Kelsey (thank goodness) went home at 12:30, and Brynn stayed the whole time. Paige and Genesis didn't try out, even though Genesis has a rockin' voice. :(

ADIOSES!

The Play!!!

Here's a post dedicated to "the play" (aka: My school's musical, Little Shop of Horrors.)

- My costume, as I've probably said before, is a light blue striped dress, a bright red belt, a sparkly red headband (to match the belt), pantihose/nylons/whatever, and these weird, too-big black shoes. We also have to wear this "stage makeup", which isn't really stage makeup. It's just normal makeup put on in really huge quantities. What's really weird about the whole makeup thing is that you get so used to it, having seen it every day for hours on end, that people with no makeup on at all look like they've got like albinism. (No offense to albinos, who are just as human as everyone else. I'm just saying, they all look really pale and plain.)
- Only one play left, and Kali's coming to it!!!! :) A bunch of my friends came yesterday, but practically no one came on opening night. The seniors' performance was kinda like another dress rehearsal, just ALL the way through. Then the one on Thursday night (opening night) was like "Well, it's a performance, but still sort of practice." And then yesterday's was somehow the first real deal, and the whole cast went to DQ afterwards. No one went to DQ or anywhere else on Thursday. Tonight is going to be the REALLY real deal, cuz almost everyone's friends are coming tonight. A bunch of kids came yesterday, but most of them were from Oak Grove (our 'rival' school).
- I AM SO HYPER.
- I have every single song simultaneously stuck in my head. I didn't know that that was possible, really, to have like 9 songs playing in your head at the same time. Seriously.
- Cast party tonight!!!! I'm psyched, cuz apparently they're really awesome. I can't wait!
- I'm bored...
- IF YOU HAVE A FACEBOOK:: I'm going to be posting pictures from the play in an album titled - *gasp* - Little Shop of Horrors. Go look at 'em!!!

And... that's it, I think. Bye!

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

Update; 2 hours later:
OMG Spencer's on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got on YIM, then he got on the meebo, and he's so Spencer-y!!! And it rocks! And stuff! So yeah. Just had to mention that. :D He just got on meebo like 10 minutes ago, and then he just brb'd, so I just hope he doesn't leave. If he does, I'm killing him next time I see him. :P Just kidding, of course. You all would hate me for life if I killed Spencer. Then again, I'D hate me for life if I killed Spencer.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Update; about 2 seconds after the last update:
I forgot to mention that I'm sick and can't talk. My nose is running, my eyes are watering, and my throat is all swollen inward and weird tasting and I can't swallow that well. So :(.

IQ Test Scores

Okay, so I finally found some decent IQ test websites, and here's what I got...

- On the adult one, I got 139. That's almost super-gifted for an adult. Heck yeah!
- On the kid one, I got...

Your Score is 100%

How well did you do?
Eleven-year-olds
60/70% - Good
70/85% - Very Good
85/100% - Excellent

Again, heck yeah.
- On the "Smarter than a fifth grader?" one, I got 100%, which means I'm WAY smarter than a fifth grader (10-11 year old), who would have gotten an average of 80-85%. Aka: I'm smarter than I should be. :P
- On the random 12-year-old test, I got 100%. Again. It was like "what does 'baffle' mean?" and I was like 'Confuse!' and it was like 'Good job!' and yeah. :D
- And... that's actually all I took. Just wanted you guys to know. :P

Peace, Love, and Llamas!
-Emiliano
P.S: Here is the adult IQ test. It's pretty easy, if I do say so myself... Remember: I got 139. Try to beat my score!
P.P.S: This is the kid test. They said it was for 8-11-year-olds or something. I think. Idk.
P.P.P.S: No, I don't really have a third thing. The other 2 quizzes were really weird URLs. I've just never had a P.P.P.S before. :D

Update - 2/19/09

Okay, here comes the update!

- First off, to set the mood, this thing that happened on the bus. So this kid named Alex and I were talking randomly, and the radio was playing, and there was this commercial on which I was kinda-sorta listening to. And I kind of half-registered that it was on, like, plastic surgery and stuff. People were talking, so it was sort of hard to hear, and then all of a sudden there was a pause, (you know, where everyone coincidentally quiets for like a half-second?) and the person for the commercial goes, "Big, sexy breasts," and everyone started laughing. Kind of a had-to-be-there situation, but it was really funny.
- Conferences tonight. Yaaaaay. *total flat voice* I have a "C" in math cuz I was absent for a quiz. My mom's not gonna be happy. :(
- THE PLANTS CAME YESTERDAY, AND THEY ARE DANG AWESOME!!! (Sorry, had to mention it.)
- Coinky-dink! So you know how Kali was sick? She had a fever of 102.2 one day, and I was like "Woah, that's almost to Lite FM!" (Lite FM is a radio station that's 102.9), and she goes, "Yeah, I was gonna say, more than KDWB!" (Another radio station. 101.3.) And then we laughed for a while. Well, last night she was reading "Speak", which is a book, and the beginning of a chapter was "I had a fever of 102.2. Sounded like a radio station." Weird, huh?
- I'm sleep-deprived and irritated, mainly because my Tech Ed partner chose TODAY to leave early (because she's leaving for the weekend) and today was the day that we made our finishing touches and hooked up to another group, and I (and Caroline and Olivia-the-complete-nutcase, too) needed another person. Badly. So now our hook-up is going to be late and we'll lose like 15 points. >:(
- I got yet ANOTHER request to join DA (Dimensions Academy, the school for the overly-intelligent) yesterday. I should really start a collection -- I have like 20 or something, and that's just from this year and last. Except I threw them all away... Wah. Anyway, yeah, I didn't want to go to Dimensions (aka: Demented, which is what people at my school sometimes call it, especially around me. They know that I've gotten a bunch of invites to it. Basically, calling it "demented academy" means they're jealous of me and the other people there.)
- Um.......... idk what else. Spencer's still iffy in his schedule apparently, hasn't posted for a week-ish. Rae and Kali are both sick. Kali is less so, now, than Rae is, probably. She still says she's really sick. Kali says she's better. But idk.

And that's it. Adioses.

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

HAPPY BELATED VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Click on those words up there to see if YOU got your own special Heart Day gift! And if you didn't, then I was just too lazy to keep making presents, and you get a super-special box of chocolates, under "Combined Gifts". Don't be afraid to browse through the other gifts, too, of course!

Love,
Emiliano <3
P.S: Check out Joey's page especially. He got the coolest presents.

Total Randomness.

Random Update time, peepz! Aren't you excited? I know you are.

Soooooo, here's what I did, and my thoughts, and RANDOMNESS!!

- Went to my grandma's for the weekend. It was much like going to a grandma's house usually is. We baked cookies, played Scrabble, watched this movie called Princess that was super-cheesy yet somehow good, and hung out, and stayed up till like 11pm. Which isn't really THAT late, but still. And I played video games, because my grandpa loves Zelda. So yeah.
- This is super random: Seth is AWESOME!! And Kali doesn't even LIKE him that much but she still Imprinted on him, prolly to make me jealous. GOSH, Kali. I love Seth, and you love Jake, so you should just Imprint on darn Jake and not Seth, who's MINEZ. >:( See? I make Spencer's mad face.
- Joey's being his weirdo self.
- We have a long weekend!! For four days!!!!!! And I'm so happy!!!!! :D
- Well, okay, so it's good that it was a long weekend, or else it wouldn't really BE a weekend, since I was at my grandma's house, and that's not what I usually do on my weekends. So now I had 2 days of weekend-ness and one day of my mom and (evil) step-dad being lazy and watching a dumb movie (no, no, the movie seriously was dumb. My mom said so.) and going to a hotel. As if I couldn't stay home one night alone. I've done it tons of times before, honestly. And it's not any different than being home WITH my mom and (bobo y feo) step-dad.
- Um.........
- See, I don't have any more updates.
- But I'll just keep adding them.
- Because I feel like it.
- Seth is the BESTEST!! And he's MINEZ. >:(
- And...
- Um...
- Yeah.
- Okay.
- So.
- Um.
- I'll stop now.

ADIOSESCIAOADIEUBYEZ!
Peace, Love, Llamas (KOD)!
-Emiliano
P.S: Seth is MINE.

More on the Guardian thing

Okay, here's more on that "Message from Guardian" thing. Read the previous post for more info on this stuff.

Guardian: Hello messengers.
What im about to tell you is very important. I will appear to Rachel in a dream as a young girl of 5 or 6. she MUST NOT LOOK ANYONE ELSE IN THE DREAM DIRECTLY IN THE EYE for this is fatal to the soul. she will be seeing into a limbo. these souls are unpredictable and will be judged by God If she is true to God then she will know which one to follow into the room. they wil show her how to cleanse
Me: Okay…
Guardian: without this, she will be most unsuccessful in her mission
Pyro: can we please know what cleansing is?????
Guardian: Hush child This is for the player only. She MUST win the game.
Pyro: stay!!! We might have questions.
Guardian: i cannot guaruntee they will all be answered curiosity is deadly to a messenger you will become sidetracked
Me: A lot of deadliness in all of this, isn't there?
Guardian: As they say, Curiosity killed the cat.
Guardian: There is. The dream will be in a week. she will fall to sleep regardless of will. i will see her there
Pyro: we still have questions!
Guardian: Ask them.
Me: Are you Nameless’ “Guardian”?
Guardian: No. I am gods. not GOD, but god. the one whom works the fields and reaps the corn.
Me: Ooookay.
Guardian: i am mankind for lack of a better word.
Pyro: you are people?
...
Pyro: how do we know you aren't a fake
Me: Good question.
Guardian: Faith, my dear child. Faith is the key. As Rachel will soon find out.
*Guardian leaves*
Pyro: that was a dramatic exit.

And there you have it. The next chapter of this stuff. Rae, HURRY UP. This person is weirding me out.

Peace, Love, Llamas, and Messenging (inside joke)! (KOD)
-Emiliano

I'm a messenger? SWEET!

WHO: Pyro and I. And some person called Guardian. Not Nameless' Guardian.
WHAT: Some cleansing of some sort.
WHERE: The Meebo.
WHEN: Friday, February 13, at 2:56 PM, your time.
WHY: I wish I knew.

Guardian: Is Rachel Alvelais here?
Pyro: no. why?
Me: Nope. But her fiance is. And her friend.
Guardian: Can I trust you to deliver a message
Me: Yes.
Pyro: yeah
Guardian: her time starts today.
Guardian: She has one year to complete the cleansing.
Me: ...Okay.
Guardian: She is a new player. Because of that the time of the play is now reset. It starts anew from this day.
Guardian: If she fails, her life will be the price. All life will.
Pyro: okay. what is cleansing?
Me: What Pyro asked.
Guardian: What cleansing is does not matter but unto her. She has one year.
Guardian: She must win the game. All of it.
Guardian: You are no longer her friends. You are her messengers.

I've got no clue what it means, but I think Rae should hop to that cleansing thing. So. Yeah.

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)
-Emiliano
P.S: Could be an RP, too. VERY slim chance, though.
P.P.S: In case you're unaware, that (P.S) is called sarcasm.

Why?

Asia and Skillet's old blog has turned into this:
http://justonelittlegirlinabigworld.blogspot.com/
And their profile turned into: http://www.blogger.com/profile/15513639983254829192

If this is just yet another attempt at trying to start over without us interfering, they messed up--the follower sign in the "Followers" sidebar used to be Asia and Skillet--now it's this Abi person. Jo and Aeron's group is still there (though you can't follow to the profile) and up until yesterday, Asia and Skillet's was there too--and their blog worked, until today.

Now it's gone...

and I feel a bit betrayed.
-Rae, the Resistance

The only thing I have to say about all this is: Why?
Why would you do this to someone? To a LOT of people who believed in you; who trusted you; who protected you -- in short, your friends? Why would you betray them like that? I rarely ever write poetry, but this is just... I don't know. I felt like writing a poem about it. Hopefully it won't suck as much as I think it will.

Betrayed

Feelings mixed,
Thoughts muddled.
How could they?
Why would they?
Betrayed am I.
I am betrayed.

Deep wounds,
Cutting, slicing.
Should I feel this way?
Could I not?
Betrayed am I.
I am betrayed.

Feeling, sensing,
Listening to the Earth’s voice.
Can I feel it?
That tenseness in the air?
Betrayed am I.
I am betrayed.

If I could stop the hurt,
I would stop it.
Could I do it?
Should I do it?
Betrayed am I.
I am betrayed.

Feelings mixed,
Thoughts muddled.
How could they?
Why would they?
Betrayed am I.
I am betrayed.

There you have it. It's a little deep, especially the 2nd part (can't remember what they're called. Starts with an "S"), but it works for me. It's kind of ruined my long weekend. But I'll survive.

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)

I HATE HORMONES!!!

Sorry for the random title, but I do. They suck. (I have, however, broken free from their grasp. So it's safe to talk to me. xD) And Kaliyan's singing a Christmas song. The "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away..." one. So yeah.

I just kind of felt like posting today, so yeah. Pyro was on the blog earlier, and he's got a new post, and yeah. And we've officially finished the play, and I'm now "officially mature" (as of last night) if you get my drift, and my life is just kinda weird. And yeah.

I HATE HORMONES!!! This is mainly because I got myself into a little friend trouble because of stupid Pre-MS. I don't get PMS, just Pre. For the first time ever. Although when I explained it to my friends today they just laughed at me and accepted my apology, so it's all good.

And..............................................................Kaliyan's obsessed with this song by the Backstreet Boys. She's been singing it over and over and over and over. "I JUST WANT YA TO KNOWWWW---OHHHH!!!" like that.

And I made cookies! And they're awesome and tasty and stuff! And yeah.

So.

Mhm.

That's it.

Update - 2/6/09

Okay, so I figured I should probably post something besides me spazzing about the movie. So here's an update! Yay!

- So, we went to the Courage Retreat yesterday. It was really fun, and then at the end it was pretty emotional, but I didn't cry. I was kind of tearing up, but not really. And then Brynn came up and hugged me, and I hugged her back. She wasn't crying either, but her eyes were all wet and shiny and stuff. Paige was totally aloof, and Genesis was kind of crying. And when we got back to school we had an ice cream party, and then play practice. And Kirsten was bawling at play. :( But yeah... Pebble in the Pond was very emotional. It was fun, though, especially Mongo Volleyball! And we set the record for the jumprope game. And yeah.
- Um, Brandon hasn't been on, and Spencer's being MIA, and I'm bored, and Joey's being an idiot (as usual), and it's all pretty much normal.
- I watched LSOH movie today, on YouTube with Marie! It was awesome. See my last post for more on that.
- I'm trying to think of more, but I'm failing to...

That's all for now!

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)

ELECTROCUTION!

WARNING: This whole post is dedicated to spazzing about Little Shop of Horrors. Don't read it if you won't want to read about how awesome the movie is. Cuz it's dang awesome. REALLY dang awesome. xD

ELECTROCUTION! BAM!

Oh, my gosh!!! Little Shop of Horrors is more awesome than I thought it would be!! I just watched the movie, in parts, on YouTube, and it's REALLY awesome. Except for the fact that neither Seymour nor Audrey can sing, and they're the two leads. And there's some swearing. But other than that, GAWD, it's good. And the end is like--- Not telling. I already ruined it for Rae and Kaliyan, I can't put it in a POST.

Anyway, yeah, so this is just my totally random post about how fantawesome LSOH is. I can't wait to see how much fun Dan (Tooey/Audrey 2's voice) pokes at the ending... he's gonna play it up SO much. But yeah! It's so awesome! And so cool! And I'm now officially obsessed. I added an LSOH playlist, which is right above the other playlist. I haven't updated it lately, though. I added 2 or 3 songs to it since the last time. But yeah.

Marie watched like half-ish of it with me, on video-share (YIM), but then she had to go. Which sucks. :( And yeah... so I've now officially watched the movie! Even though it was in bits and pieces on YouTube. It works, though. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG IT'S SO GOOD!

Kay, done now.

Somewhere that's greeeeen... SUDDENLY SEYMOUR!!! Downtown... Little shop, little shoppa horrors...In a tract house that we share... FEED me, Krelborne!

Peace, Love, and Seymour! (And llamas. And KOD.)

February 5, 2009

Bored.

So, another boring post on my part. We're moving along in the play... done with the first act, and about half way through the second. Then we just work on it over and over until it's perfecto.

Also, I'm done with my science speech. We're supposed to be convincing our teacher about how spectacular it is, so I did my best... but still, it's immoral and stupid. I think that might come through in the speech, but I don't really want to be exempt from a big test, anyway. (That's the prize for the best speech.) I always ace the science ones, so it would hurt my (A+) grade if I was exempt, anyway. If I took it, it would be a HIGHER A+. :P Anyway, just email me or ask me and I'll send you a copy. I think it's kind of convincing that I think it's awesome. Kind of.

And...Brandon hasn't been on for a while, and Spencer's being evil and MIA, and Joey's being a weirdo with, apparently, amnesia, and... that's it.

Boring, huh? (And short.) But at least I posted.

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)

Awesome Dream!!!!!

Okay, so I had the most amazing dream last night. It's this continuing saga of dreams, so I'll tell you the whole thing. It won't be as awesomely explained on here as it was in my head, but this is my favorite dream to get. It's AWESOME. I might even write a story based on them, when I'm done with all the stuff I'm working on right now. Here's the first dream. It's long...

I'm up at my aunt's cabin with my cousin McKenna. We're running around, being hyper. I'm probably about 10. Finally my aunt comes out and tells us to try out a new rope swing that my uncle put up. We run out to a stream that runs by the cabin and start swinging across, laughing, making the biggest ruckus you've ever heard. We're just randomly swinging, slapping our feet in the water as we p
ass.
Then something moves underwater. "A fish!" I yell, and drop down off of the rope. Luckily, I'm wearing shorts, so only my skin gets wet. It moves again, and this time I know it's not a fish. It looks like a person... but they've been underneath for ages now. I start walking towards the person, which/who starts swimming briskly away. I get onto the shore and start running after it, McKenna staying behind to swing more.
I keep running, and finally pulled up alongside
the person, who I've now identified as a female. I know that I'll tire soon, but I also know that the stream runs out in a short while.
Sure enough, the stream soon became a small circle about 4 feet in diameter and 3 feet deep. The girl got out, and started running. She isn't nearly as fast on land as she in underwater, I think.
I catch up to her in seconds, and slowly chase her to a tall rock cliff (coming upward from the ground) that I like to climb with McKenna. The girl, I figure, doesn't look much like a climber.
As I had thought she would, she stops when we reach the cliff. I have her cornered.
I notice that she's trembling slightly. "What's wrong?
" I start to say, but quickly change it to, "Don't worry... I'm not going to hurt you or anything."
It was then that I noticed it.

She has long red hair that's impeccably braided down her back. Bright, clear blue eyes that exactly match the color of the stream. She's dressed in rolled-up heans and a tight-fitting, but still VERY flattering, t-shirt. She's barefoot.
And not one square inch of her is wet. Not even DAMP. Just smooth, perfectly dry, tan skin.
Her hair? Completely without water. Her clothes? Couldn't be drier. It's s
o weird. Hadn't she been swimming - UNDERWATER - moments before?
"You're... well, you're completely dry," I mumbled, and the girl's tan cheeks flushed a little. "I'm sorry... it's just, well, I've been thinking, and I've read a lot about Greek mythology..." I fumble for the next words, but can't seem to find them. Might as well be blunt, I think, then blurt, "I think you're a naiad."
She grins. Then, to my intense surprise, she speaks - like your average American pre-teen. "Nope," she says. "But you're kinda close. I'm kind of like... a spirit of nature, I guess." I give her a blank look. "Like, I was just some girl, but I was, like, the last real hippie or something. And I took my... hippie-ness really seriously. So then, one day, I figured out that I had these, like, "powers". I don't ge
t wet when I don't want to, I don't sunburn, I can controll the weather in small places." She pauses. "And my growth rate is slower than normal. I guess I'm sorta immortal."
Now, when someone tells you that they're immortal, and they're serious, you don't really take it in stride, and be all 'Cool,'. You pretty much spaz out. At least, you do if you're me.
"You're... What do you... Oh, my gosh..." I stutter, then take a deep breath. "What do you mean?"
She shrugs. "I'm 12 right now. My body is that of a 12-year-old girl. And I've been on this earth for... well, I was 8 in the sixties."
My jaw drops open. "What's your name?"

"Naeryan," is the reply. "You can call me Ryan."

And that's where it ended. If there are tense issues, like past- and present-tense, then sorry. But yeah. Then, a few months later, I got this new dream. I'm not even going to tell you the whole thing. It was basically like, me living in this really awesome place with her (Naeryan) for like 3 months. It's underground, and it's this really awesome place... it's hard to explain. The light comes in like in this picture:

And it's green. Really, really green. And small, and just... really beautiful, in a simple sort of way. And I know it was underground, because (Nae)Ryan told me it was. If I could explain it in just 2 words, I would say "happy place". It was SO cool. And I somehow just lived off the sunlight or something, like a plant. I was never hungry, never thirsty. I felt the healthiest I've ever felt. (In the dream, obviously). And it was PERFECT. And then, of course, I had to leave. I can't remember why, now, but I was really, really sad. Then I got home, and my parents weren't even concerned. They just said, "Did you have a good time?" and then, later, "First day of school tomorrow."

Here's the latest dream, which I had last night:

I'm back at the cabin, up north, this time with Kaliyan, my best friend (as you all know). It's apparently a year after my little summer stay underground, and I'm really preoccupied, looking for Ryan. Kaliyan seems to realise this, and asks me why I seem to absentminded. I just shrug. Finally, after days of this, Ryan appears from out of the woods to the east.
"Catori!" she yells to me. She's taken to calling me that; Tori for short. It means 'Spirit'. "I've missed you so much!" Her embrace feels like the dawn of the first true day of spring.
I sigh happily. "Hey, Ryan. I missed you, too." Kaliyan is standing at a distance, probably wondering why I was just called Tori by some mystery girl. Ryan notices her.
"Hey. This your friend, Tori?" I nod. "Oh, cool! Does she want to come to... you know... the place?" I bite my lip. I've been wondering about that for the past couple days, whether I should tell Kaliyan about 'the Place' or not. I mean, she's my best friend, and I trust her with anything, but... the Place just seems like it's me and Ryan's secret hideaway.
I clear my throat. "Do you want to see something really awesome, Kali?" I ask, and Kaliyan nods slowly. "Okay, Ryan, let's go."
I turn to Kaliyan. "Just follow us, and you'll be fine. We'll be going quickly," I instruct, then add, "And don't be scared if you feel something really amazing when we get there. Just trust me, okay?" She nods, and we start running.
Ryan smiles back at us every couple moments, and I smile back. I feel the magnetic pull that I'm so accustomed to, and I grab Kaliyan's hand. "You might get lost," I say in explanation, and she looks puzzled.
I really haven't figured it out yet, but we somehow switch planes when we go into the Place, and you have to have been there before to just DO it. I was afraid Kaliyan wouldn't make it, so I was doing what Ryan had done for me all those months ago. I couldn't wait to arrive.

Honestly, even in the dream, it was the most amazing feeling to switch planes or whatever. And it was even more amazing to be in the Place. Just a quick note.

We kept running and running, getting faster as we went, and finally switched planes. We were in the grove next to the Place, and already I felt my body being healed. Kaliyan's face expressed her every feeling. "I feel like... I don't know..." she whispered, and I smiled. So did Ryan.
"Don't worry, Kaliyan. It's your soul being healed," I said, and it was more of a sigh. Kaliyan nodded uncertainly.
And then we were in the Place.
I flopped onto the ground. "Oh, god, Ryan. It's been way too long," I moaned, feeling all of a sudden as if I was broken and didn't know it, then all of a sudden whole again. "I've gotta come here more."
Kaliyan just looked more and more bewildered.
Ryan smiled her gentle smile. "You should visit me more often, Tori. I'd like that." I nodded vigorously. "I know you would, too," Ryan finished with a grin.
"Why are you calling her Tori?" Kaliyan broke in.
I chuckled. "It means Spirit. Naeryan - that's her - decided that I should have a more earthy name than Emily." Kaliyan nodded.
"So, do I get an earthy name?" she asked, sounding hopeful.
Ryan nodded thoughtfully. "What do you think, Tori?"
I pondered this. "Sisika? She could be, like, Sika for short."
"Yes, I suppose... but 'bird'? Are you sure?" Ryan asked. I shrugged.
All of a sudden I laughed. "What about Nata?" Ryan smiled. "I think that'd work well, huh Ryan?"
Ryan nodded. "I like it. 'Speaker'."
And so Kaliyan was named.

And that's all I can remember. I'm usually really good at remembering dreams, but the end of today's was totally lost on me today... Gah.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed!

>:(

I am so bored. And I don't know why. But I am. And I haven't posted for a looooong time, and I figure I should post.

See, I'm not one to complain or rant or anything, but I think that it's time to do a little of both.
I think I might cry. I'm sick, and tired, and I had to go to school anyway (and wake up earlier than normal to do so) and then I come home and do my impossible math homework and generally am tired and kinda grumpy. And then I get on here, hoping for a good laugh or two.

But no.

Now Kaliyan's saying she's going to leave the Resistance because she doesn't know the titles of the MR books, and my internet is slow, and Joey's being more retarded than usual, and I just think it's all too much. WAY. TOO. MUCH.

What I really want is for it to be April 5th. Then I'd be on my way to Florida, carefree, and ready for a week-long cruise without my step-dad. And hopefully I'll be well-rested and not ticked off or anything. And I'll be warm, and on spring break, and happy.

Right now? I feel like I'm going to fall over, I care about WAY too much, and I'm really just fed up. So, if anyone wants to add something to the pile, just be my guest.

Just do it.

Random Update

So... this is mostly because I've been so obsessed with my story lately that I haven't really posted. This post is what I call... *drumroll* ...a Random Update! Hence the title, right? Right.

So. Here's the Update part, which is color coded. (White=Normal, random stuff --- Red=Resistance --- Blue=Science.)

- The play is coming along smoothly. We've got Little Shop and Skid Row down pat, and are really, really close to getting Da-doo down pat, and are kinda-sorta close-ish to getting Never Know down pat, and are... well, we've started Dentist. Which is a world-rockin' song. And yeah.
- I came up with this really awesome look today!! I just noticed this random low-cut shirt sitting in my closet, and I got this new cami, and I put 'em together, and: Perfection! Well, not really, but it looks dang good. (And yes, for those who know me super well. I know I'm not the type to make new outfits. Especially not the type to talk about it. But so WHAT?! This is a wicked awesome pair-up.)
- I've got guitar today, from 7:15 - 8 o'clock central! My first practice. And the bestest part? KALIYAN'S TAKING IT WITH ME!!!! YAY!!!! :)
- Um... well, there's this awesome new kid on the Resistance named Brandon. He's apparently a favorite of Spencer (I dunno, that's what it seems like), and so yeah.
- Bo, Zac's brother, posted on Ness's Blog. I'm not aware of the entire awesomeness of this, however am VERY excited. I mean, I've heard a LOT about Zac. He was nice, hilariously funny, had hot-when-it's-bloody blonde hair, and is a bird kid.

OH MY GOD!! Speaking of bird kids. And recominant species in general. *deep breath* I learned how to do it in science. Recombine the genes, that is. And it's not hard - if you have a microscopic tweesers and a microscope that's just a LITTLE more powerful that our school's. And no, I'm not being sarcastic when I say "just a LITTLE more powerful". I'm serious.

All you have to do is-- Oh, wait, never mind. I don't think I wanna tell you all... in case some whacko happens upon this blog and decides to try it out. Anyway, it's really simple. And I bet I could do it - I could make bacteria with wings, probably. Not HUMANS, I'm not crazy - or mean - enough to do that, but I could make, like, protists with a pig's tails or something. I dunno.

Also on the science front: I'm doing a project on recominant species. Mostly animals, but that's how I learned how to recombine genes and such. I mean, gosh, I'm 11 years old and I could do what Itex brags about doing. Sheesh.

ANYWAY: I could define "recombinant species" for you, I could tell you HOW to recombine genes (if I looked at my notes), I could tell you about glow-in-the-dark goldfish that will one day replace the night light. All sorts of stuff. And right now? I still think it's interesting, but not the least bit humane. The End.

And that's all for today, folks. It's long, but I bet you survived.

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)

P.S: Son, be a de-entist! (Son be a dentist.) You have a talent for causing things pain. (Oooo, pain) Go be a de-entist! (Go be a dentist.) People will pay you to be inhumane. Oooo, Inhumane!
THE DENTIST SONG IS AWESOME!

NO SCHOOL!!!

We have no school today! Which ROCKS!!!!! *dances*

Well, okay, so it's ALMOST impossible for us Minnesooootans to have an unplanned day off. Especially a snow day. And I have never had a real snow day before. Still haven't. Because today's off because the busses put in the wrong kind of gasoline in their tanks, and so no one can ride the bus to school. Seriously. But there's still NO SCHOOL!!!

That's it, really. Just randomly wanted to announce that.
Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)

P.S: If you comment "I hate you", then I know you hate me for this. But it's AWESOME! Cuz we have a 4-DAY WEEKEND!!! :D

January 15, 2009

A menina que fala somente o português.

(The title in English: The girl who speaks only Portuguese.)

That's Maresol, recent visitor to the blog. She spoke only Portuguese, so I - and Pyro - rushed back and forth between online translator and the meebo to talk to Maresol, whose real name is Ivana. She's an adult, a teacher, lives in Portugal, and it's 2:30 pm for her.

It's half past 10 pm where I live. And the reason I'm staying up kinda late on a Thursday night is that there's no school tomorrow!!! WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! Okay, sorry, randomness was needed.

Okay, so, back on subject (sorta): Maresol thought that I was a guy because Brazilian men can be named Emiliano. Which is what my user was today on the meebo. So that was really funny.

Also, the end of her "goodbye" was 'I was', or 'fui'. No, I have no clue what the significance of it is either, just thought I'd tell you. Anyway, I've gotta get this posted and stuff, then talk, and stuff. So yeah.

BYE!!!! Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)
-Emiliano (the female. >:( Not a dude. xD)

Itex or faker?

I don't know. But at about 5 after 5 central time, a guest came on. Brandon (new guy, first day was yesterday) was on, alone, probably bored out of his mind. Here's the convo.

Brandon: Hi guest. Whassup?
*a pause*
guest23958: I am from ITEX. Your Resistance is in trouble. Be cautious, and close down your blog, and you may yet survive. The By-Half Plan will succeed. Our tests will not be proven wrong. Go well.
Emiliano: Back. What did I miss?
Emiliano: What the HECK?! I'm posting about this. ITEX came????
Emiliano: Brb so I can post it.

So then I brb'd to write this much. *checks meebo progress* Then came:

Brandon: Ok
guest23958: Who is the primary director of this Resistance? I
assume it is not you; am I correct?
Brandon: Um no. I guess its Rachel or Spencer or someone.
guest23958: I see. And is this Spencer human?
Emiliano: Yes. We all are. Now go away.
Brandon: I think so but idk.
Brandon: I guess he is then.
guest23958: I understand, however, that "Spence", listed on the side-bar, is an avian-human hybrid. Is this not the same person?

I'm lying through my teeth, here, peeps. Hang on here.

guest23958: Is it?
Brandon: Well duh. Now go away!! I dont have time to deal with you!

Then D came. Then I had to go. And that's that. *bows*

The end!

More Randomness

Okay, so this is all random crap from school.

- My math teacher, Mr. Ikebata, ate my friend Paige's lunch today. I kid you not. He walked up, took her sandwich, chips, and cookie when she wasn't looking, and walked away to eat it. It was SO weird. Then later he walked up to her, laughing, and she just looked at him all weird and ate more beef jerky. Seriously. But he's not mean, he's just always hungry. His stomach is like a black hole. And Paige wasn't mad, just kind of creeped out. Just getting that straight.
- Christian was absent today! *cheers* Probably at PAWS, which is in-school suspension, but about 39 times worse.
- I figured out my step-dad's password on his laptop the first time I tried. It was scary. I sat down in the office, and opened his laptop, and really wanted to be an admin, so I took a REALLY random guess at what his password might be, and got it right. I'm disturbed by my own Nudge-ness. (MR obsessives will get that. Otherwise, just... never mind.)
- In science class, we're doing this section on genetic engineering. I had a stomach-ache the whole class long, thinking about what SOME people *glares at Itex* already know about genetic engineering. Despite myself, though, it's interesting, and cool. Did you know that some lady somewhere came up with the wacky idea to put some genes from a jellyfish (the ones that make it phosphorescent) into a rat? The rat glowed in the dark. I saw PICTURES. There aren't words for it. Honestly, there aren't.
- Christian was ABSENT!!!!!! (Did I mention that I sit right next to him in math? AGAIN??? We've had 2 seat-swaps since he came, and he still sits right next to me. And get this: In gym, when we're both resting during b-ball, he... A: lets me sit down on the one chair, every time, and B) stands, like, unnervingly close to me. They are the longest 2 minutes of my life, with him rubbing against my shoulders like the complete idiot he is. THAT KID IS A CREEP.)
- Then, of course, my update on the play. Cuz, you know, it just wouldn't be a post without a play update, right? Right. So, today we choreographed Skid Row/Downtown, and it's dang long, and dang hard. But it's worth it. There're all these sweet moves, and we're supposed to act all pissed off, which is the whole point of the song, (the song's how we're poor, and that's bad, and we're mad about it, and we live in this place, with no houses, cuz we're poor, and so on) so everything's crisp, and has a TON of feeling. Which is awesome. So then, now, whenever I'm mad, I'm gonna do the Skid Row dance! Ta-da, instant relief! ;)
- I skipped the spelling bee, which was after school today, (I was the top speller on my team) and am preparing myself for my Language Arts teacher tomorrow, because he probably won't be too happy about the fact that I wasn't there. But I don't care: I'm really, really glad. Kirsten got a word that she said was like "martiphosdotious" (mart-uh-fahz-DOH-shus), and she also missed 99.9% of play practice, and was clueless as to the choreography of the dance, as I found out when we ran it through one last time in the last 2 minutes of practice. It was sad. :(

And that's all! Thank you for your time and attention.
Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)

OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS!

OH MY FREAKING GOODNESS!
I need this car. I don't mean I want it, mind you. I NEED it. It's AWESOME!!!

Okay, that's it. Just thought you should know.

My Camping Trip

Ok, so I was gone for Friday and this weekend (up until today at about 12:40) because I was on a camping trip for Girl Scouts. Basically, we go up to Buffalo, MN and sled, do crafts, play Nintendo DS and do a scavenger hunt. Stuff like that. So, even though you probably don't give a care, I'll just tell you about my trip. (FYI: This is BT style. When you see an asterick [*], go to the bottom of the post. They're called footnotes.)

Friday, I hung out here and lamented the fact that NO ONE was on, then left (got offline) at like 4:45, ate and packed until about 5:30 or 6 central, then started up nort'. We drove for about an hour or so.

When we got there, we checked in and put our sleeping bags in the room in Mary Adams Lodge, which is basically this biggish building with 3 normal-sized rooms and one gimungo crafts room. We were in the third normal-sized room with 6 other families.

So we put our sleeping bags and stuff in there, and got all set up, then went to the mess hall (dining hall, Sally Walls, whatever you want to call it) for snack, which was this weird apple cobler. I passed.

Anyway, then we played Bingo for a while - I got a set of gel pens and a notebook as prizes. After that we went back to our rooms, and my group played Apples To Apples until 11:30 pm, then we all read until about 12:30 am.

The next morning (Saturday), we all woke up at 8, got dressed, went to Sally Walls/the mess/dining hall, and had a breakfast of rock-hard microwave waffles, eggs, sausage, and these awesome cinnamon bagels. And, of course, hot chocolate, which was provided 24/7 at various spots at the camp.

After breakfast we had announcements (Announcements, anouncements, annou-ouncements. What a horrible death to die, what a horrible death to die. . .) and the scavenger hunt sheets were passed out. On it were things like "a pink slipper" and "purple nail polish". Or "a 1965 penny".

Yeah, they were hard, but my group had come prepared. A pair of old pink socks were cut up and duct taped to black slippers for the "pink slipper". See? You learn these things when you come to the camp. ;)

So, yeah, that's the scavenger hunt. We sledded* for a really long time, then played Zelda for a while on Clare's DS, went to lunch, then played TrueColors.** Then we did a few crafts, sledded some more, and then I went back to my room*** to read, which I did for the rest of the time until dinner. We ate, then went sledding again, then went for a hike through the woods, which was WICKED awesome, then played more TrueColors, then I went back to my room to read more.****

Then I woke up, ate breakfast, cleaned the office (where the cooks slept. It was dang hard, let me tell you.), and left. We drove back to good ol' Bloomington, and now here I sit.

Tada!! Comment, email meh, whatever you want. I don't really mind.
Peace, Love, and Llamas! (KOD)
-Emiliano
P.S: No one was here on Friday before I left. :(

*: I brought my snow tube. That thing is the fastest thing EVER. It's kinda scary, because we go waaaaay farther than we're supposed to on it. But we do it anyway, no matter how long and tiring the walk back up the hill is. Which is a whole heck of a lot.

**: That is one of the best games in the world. It's so funny: you ask a question to the group that you're playing with, something like "You're all in jail, and are making your only phone call. Who orders pizza?" Then you vote on who would do it, then you go around saying if you would. Usually the silly ones went to Clare, who fit all of them.

***: I was by far the youngest in that room. Everyone else (except Elizabeth, who's 12 and on my team at school) was at least 14 or 15, although I never asked their ages. It was intimidating (not), but I dealt with it. :P

****: I'm currently rereading Ptolemy's Gate, because Rae *glares* talks about it a lot, and forced me to. So there. (That's also why I'm doing this footnote thing instead of parenthesis. I'd forgotten how handy it is.)

January 8, 2009

Randomness

Ok, so this is just a mix of a bunch of different topics.

First off, play practice today was WICKED AWESOME. We choreographed the Prologue song (scrolling lyrics below this post), and David Nelson, aka Seamore, aka "dude-with-the-lead-role" did some stuff with Downtown, and he also did some 1-on-1 with the director for his speaking roles. I can't wait to see what mine are!!! But that'll be awhile yet... probably after the intermission. *le sigh*

Second on the agenda is: Eye drops suck. Especially if you forget to get the reversing drops. My eyesight was all fuzzy until ABOUT 5th period today (noon-thirty), and even now it's not all the way normal. Please remember that I got the drops at 4:30 pm YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.

Darn my step-dad for ditching my mom before she could meet us at the office and tell me to get the other drops - even though I told him to wait, AND even though my mom called him to say she was on her way. DARN him.

Third: Spencer says (in an email) that he might be posting from today on - but he's not sure. Don't shoot the messenger if he doesn't, though. Not my problem.

And that's all! Soooooo...

Little Shop of Horrors - the musical

OMG THE PLAY IS GOING TO BE THE SINGLE BEST PLAY IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!!!

So, first of all, if you don't want to hear about how awesome my part is in the play and how awesome the play is going to be, DON'T READ THIS POST. Because that's the whole reason for this post. Except the bold part, which is KINDA connected to its bullet and kinda not. But READ IT!!! PLEASE!!! (It's red, too. Bold and red. You'll see it.)

MY LIST OF AWESOME STUFF ABOUT MY PART IN THE MUSICAL:

- I'm a hobo. A rich hobo - rich for a hobo, that is.
- My starting position is in the back of the auditorium. Guess what that means? Yep, I get to go down the aisle and do some interacting with the audience! I'm gonna cough on them, trip and fall (almost) on them, and wipe my nose - noisily - right in front of them. All perks of being a hobo!!
- Remember how I was a "rich" hobo? Well, while I'm walking towards the stage (center of attention - yikes [not really]), this girl who's being a poor(er) hobo is going to jump out at me, and I'm going to scream and run away, "terrified". It'll be GREAT!!!
- It's pretty high up there - I get a few speaking parts, and the only reason I didn't get a singing part was because I wrote "Please, no singing solos" on my application paper. I do NOT like singing in front of people. ;)

MY LIST OF AWESOME STUFF ABOUT THE WHOLE PLAY:
- Dude, the thing's about how a giant plant eats humans. How could it NOT be great?
- My friend Brynn is my partner for the customer stuff, so we get to work together, like, the whole time!!! AWESOMENESS!!

MY LIST OF NOT-SO-GREAT THINGS ABOUT BOTH OF THE ABOVE:
- I don't get to be eaten. :(
- My costume is probably going to be really weird, all... hobo-y.
- The director changed the ending so it's like the movie's. Which means the plant dies. Which means not a lot of people get to die. :(
- I'll miss about an hour and a half or so of Resistance time. I'll probably be on at about 4:20 central, which is an ESTIMATE. If I'm later than that, no sweat. Also, on Wednesday of this week, I'm going to an eye doctor appointment and PROBABLY won't be on at all. If I am, make your fonts on Yahoo! HUGE, because I'm getting eyedrops. >:(
- I don't get to be EATEN!!! :(

Aaaaand, that's all for now!

Twilight Rant

I. Am. Bored.

I also went to Twilight, like, last week, and now I think I have some ranting to do, on both ends of the spectrum. So here we go.

GOOD
- Bella's appearance was PERFECT. She looked exactly like she was described. I'm a big fan of this.
- Edward was sparkly. Like, REALLY sparkly. And it was AWESOME!!! xD
- The movie, in all, was far better than the book. *widens eyes* I just said that. I, Emily, just said that a movie was better than its book. That's not possible!
- Alice had one really awesome attitude! GO ALICE!
- It wasn't too long or too short. I was kind of afraid of that.

BAD
- Edward wasn't actually that hot. And his hair wasn't bronze.
- Jasper looked like he was, like, hypnotised or something. It was really disturbing.
- Jacob/Tay's hair was WAY too long. Who ever said anything about girly hair on Jacob???
- Ok, this isn't bad exactly, and it's not really on-subject, but I can't look at Tay without thinking, immediately, without fail, "Sharkboy". He's not Jacob, probably never will be. He's that kid who played an imaginary part-shark kid. *shrugs* My problem, not the movie's. He's a perfect Jacob, just will always be Sharky. :P

Anyway, that's my rant for today.

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (Keep on Dreamin'!)

I'm so bored I could wilt.

There's not much that has happened lately, but I'll ramble anyway. Here's the list:

  • Skylar got a Twitter
  • I grew wings! :O No, no, just kidding. I'm just intensely bored.
  • Skylar and Tawn swapped back their personalities! So now Sky's my bf.
  • I made a charrie page

That's all for now!

  3. The 2nd and 4th Max Ride books. I've got the first and third, but I've read them both, like, 50,000 times, and I need MORE MAX before March 16th!!! *taps ruby shoes together* There's no time like March... There's no time like March... There's no time like March... *sigh* No luck.
  4. More books. I. Need. Novels!
  5. The fastest laptop in the Universe. I sincerely doubt I'm getting this, but that won't stop me from wanting it.
  6. My grandmom's rhubarb pie. I'm definitely getting this, and it's DELISH.
  7. Peace on Earth. Don't think I'm getting that any time soon, either.
  8. And, finally, I want to meet my dad. I've set the date for my 13th birthday, but I haven't exactly given my mom the letter yet. Too... I dunno, careful, to ask. (Please, no convos about this. I'm tired of people feeling bad for me. It's sad, but not THAT sad. :D)
So, that's mah list. Thank you for reading, and PLEASE comment!

Peace, Love, and Llamas! (Keep on Dreamin')

P.S: Happy Boxing Day, by the way. Not sure about the significance of that, but it's on the calender, so it must have importance of SOME sort. *shrugs* I'll figure it out.

Some more pics

K, here're some more pics of mua. As you can notice, I'm wearing a hat in this pic. Why yes I am. I'm tellin' you, I'm hat-obsessed.

This top one is kinda a weird pic, because my hair looks almost blonde. I have been assuring multiple people around the world that my hair is NOT BLONDE. Nothing against blondes, but I'm most decisively a brunette.

And this lower one is me holding a gimungo CRUNCH bar!!! It weighed 10 pounds, and I really wanted to eat it. REALLY wanted to eat it.

And that's your update of pictures!

Some Pics

Can't find my baby pics, but here are some other ones.

The top one is me being a dork. My mom and I saw this phone booth and I was like "Superman!" then I went in and did a Superman pose. Yep, I'm a dork.

The bottom one is me in this GIGANTIC closet at the Parade of Homes. It was BIG. Taken in, like, August or something.

Yes, I'm still a dork.

Anyway, Keep on Dreamin'!

New Blog!

Ok, I know this is EXTREMELY random, but I made a new blog! It's kinda like FrostyPen, but not really. Anyway, it's called FrozenStream, and it's gonna be where we're having the wedding, apparently. I'll also post my drawings and thoughts and pictures and whatnot over there. This is my school life and prediction blog, and the other one's my drawings and pictures and stories, etc. blog. Okey doke. That's all.

Oh, god, I almost forgot to put the LINK. *headslap* I'm such a dork. Anyway.
This is where the wedding's gonna be, folks. Right here.

Update On My Life - 12/17/08

Ok, so the other post *pokes the post before this* was meant to be interesting, but this is basically just for those of you who feel like learning about my life right now. Don't read it if you're expecting, like, "rescue 100 mutants from School", cuz that's not in my plans. I wish it was, but not the injuries, danger, and terror it would cause. Besides, I'd probably faint when I saw the first one. Poor things...

Anyway. Here's a quick update:

- Christmas gifts - I'm sharing Spencer's. Too busy lately, sorry people, but I'll make it up in time.
- Wrist - getting better.
- School stuff - as in "school", not "School". As following:

  • Concert tomorrow - Dolce, honors choir, at school. Really short, like 4 songs.
  • SCHOOL PLAY!!!!!!! - Little Shop of Horrors. If you haven't seen it, see it. The cast (at ny school) all watched the movie on Monday, and it was fantastic. I'm a minor-major role (exaggeration takes place in my dream, people. It's good, but not, like, lead-ish.) and I'm either a customer at the dentist's (Ew.) or at the florists. I want to be the one person that dies, but I doubt it. Besides, having Nick or Dan pretend to EAT me? Not preferable, but it'd still be cool.
  • A bunch of tests. Midterms stink.
  • And finally, live my latest prediction. *pokes last post again*
Ok, sorry, can you tell I'm a little obsessed with the play? I've been doing ok, but I'm SO PSYCHED! It's gonna be REALLY fun! Aaaaand... that's all for now, folks!

New dream, Luke's pic, and a name idea!

Ok, so I'm bored, and feel like my blog needs a new post, so here's a new post. It's not totally pointless, though, since I had this weird dream last night that I want to share.

So, here's the dream:

It's the Tuesday after break, I think, and I'm walking down the 7-1 hallway, chatting randomly with Brynn. We're talking, not surprisingly, about the school play. "I didn't know our parts would be so big! I mean, I was picturing, like, walking around and doing nothing on stage, just being, like, a backdrop!" she's gushing. "And then, yesterday, we walk in and we're, like, major roles!"

I nod excitedly. "I know! We're totally, like, the level right below lead. Seriously, I must have like 20 speaking parts!" I'm trying not to squee, which is something I VERY rarely do, but still felt like doing. She IS squeeing, under her breath.

Allison runs up to me. "Omg!" she squeals. She's the kind of girl that actually SAYS "Omg", instead of the equal-syllabled "Oh my gosh". "Omg, our parts are so awesome!!" Right after she came up, Kirsten slides into our group, and starts talking about a scene that she and I have with the leads.

"We're like... like, the brothers last year! Well, maybe just a teensy bit worse. But still! That would be a LOT to hope for, being like that. But can you believe that Nick and Dan are gonna be Audrey II?" Brynn rambles, not having stopped talking YET.

I give her a glance, and she grins sheepishly. "Well, I've gotta talk to someone with the same part. Cuz if I talked to someone who's not in the play, it'd sound like bragging, and if I talked to, like, Emilee," she scrunched up her nose in disgust, "or someone, then I'd sound like I was trying to make myself feel better, or something." Finally, she stopped talking, and I grinned.

Aaand, that's where it ends. Not sure why it's important, but I'm almost positive it's a prediction, because I don't get annoyed at people in dreams, and this was really annoyed-ness, (Is there a word for that? I'm gonna Google it later.) not some dream-annoyed-ness. Okay, before I totally invent about 2,000 new words, this is adieu.

But wait! Hopefully all of you got Luke's picture via email. If not, comment and I can help you with that (xD). Anyway, so I was just thinkin' that it looks WAY different than his "I went to sleep for, like, a day" thingie on his blog. Anyway, that was just an observation of mine, no need to get concerned about it or anything. xD There, NOW it's adieu.

Adieu, and keep on dreamin'!

P.S: I'm thinking of making a nickname up, just cuz I'm tired of Emily, Em, Emmy, Emma, et cetera, and I'm thinking I'd base it off of Emiliano. I was experimenting in LA today (LA is my coast class, by FAR, so I have nothing to do) and I figured out that Lian (LEE-uhn or Lee-ANNE) sounded and looked pretty cool. It could be just on this site, or out in the real world, but I'd love it if you guys gave me some feedback! THANKS!!

Lockout

Hey, people!

Ok, so yesterday I went to this lockout, which is where you stay up all night and go to Grand Slam, bowling, and whatever. So anyway, when I was at Grand Slam (Kali was with me), we saw this dude who was like 16 or so, looked kinda Mexican, and he was making faces at us from the bumper cars while we were waiting to go in.

This, mind you, is 11:30pm. When we finally get into the bumper cars, this kid is still in there, and so is his friend. They kept quoting The Dark Knight while we were going, and we almost capsized them at least 4 times. This Mexican guy, though, acted just like Joey used to. We named him Joey2 officially.

And then we did a whole bunch of other stuff, during which time I managed to strain/sprain (we're not sure which) my arm. Good times, good times.

So, yeah!

Wanna know something awesome?

Ok, this is kinda funny, kinda "Omg! *smacks self* I'm dumb!", and kinda miraculous. Wanna know what it is? It's... *drumroll please!* the fact that my cell phone got run over by a freakin' minivan, TWICE in like 10 minutes, and it still works like a charm. Creepy enough?

I've lost it ABOUT 24 times in the past, and every single time it's turned up in my pocket, in the back of my messenger bag, in the suitcase, etc. even though I check those places, like, a trillion times. It's kind of making me superstitious, because how is that even POSSIBLE?! Seriously...

Anyway, that's all for today.

I got this weird letter.

It was sitting right on top of my prediction journal, where I keep it under my pillow. It was written on this weird little scrap of paper, like a quarter-sheet or so, and it was written in this cool, sloping handwriting. Anyway, it said this:

dear emily-
do you ever notice a flitting shadow that vaguely resembles a human, up in the heavens? ever see a small shadow, or some wings, disappear around the corner of the street as you ride home from your school? how about that shadow behind the curtain; the one that disappears the second before you throw the curtain aside? that's me.

And that's IT. I don't know, kinda weird, but I've seen all of these things in the last few weeks. At first I thought it might be Spencer, trying to make an early Christmas present out of a visit or something, but then I asked him and he said that it wasn't him. Believe me, he'd say so if I'd caught him. I just can't figure it out!

I'm checking again tonight, because this is kind of creeping me out, but it's definitely not some prank, because the last time I let someone else into my room (besides my mom) was on Saturday, and it wasn't there then.

Anyway, if you have ANY IDEA who or what this is, please comment!!

I promise, this is a short-ish one.

Ok, so it seems like all my posts so far consist of SUPER long stories and stuff. Well, here's another story, but hopefully my author-to-be-ness won't take over, and I can just be some psychic girl telling you about this had-to-be-there SUPER funny thing that happened in Tech. Ed. today. So, here it goes:::

Click! The TV was turned off. "Ok, now we'll go over the answers. The first question is, "How much money went towards carpets and rugs on the ship?" the teacher announced, and Noah Luedke (He's an idiot, but it's SO fun to prove him wrong, which was what I was about to do) snorted.

"What's the difference between a rug and a carpet, anyway?" he muttered, and both Brynn (cool girl on my team) and I cracked up. We looked at each other, eyes still laughing, and she said to Noah, "Um, carpets ARE the floor, and rugs go ON the floor."

He rolled his eyes. "Um, carpets go on the floor, too! And they're the same exact thing as rugs only BIGGER."

Still holding in my laughter, I said, "Carpets are permanent, Noah. Rugs are temporary. You could move a rug whenever you felt like it. Duh." I grinned at Brynn.

Then, of course, Jesse Rix - more later, and it really is "Rix", not Ricks - had to pipe up, "Well yeah, but they're made out of the same stuff, right?" He looked to me for the answer. Woah. So I shrugged, nodded, and half-smiled to myself, thinking But that doesn't make them the same, does it now? Of course he said, right after I thought that, "But that's not the SAME, Noah. It just means they're kinda ALIKE."

Then the argument continued, and the teacher yelled at us, making me almost CRY from laughing so hard, and... yeah. The end.

I just remembered something!

Ok, so when I was reading Kaliyan's new post (Yeah, she posted on Friday) and when I got to the part where she saw Christian at Hyland or something, I think, I remembered about the HILARIOUS thing that happened happened at school.

So it's Friday, and Paige, Genesis (say it with me: HEN-uh-seez), and I are walking into the lunchroom, and I'm rambling on about how boring Social Studies was, and how we got socked with like 7 pages of homework for just that class (All of which I finished in 4 minutes, but I didn't tell them that).

When we sit down, Paige and I tell Genesis ALL about how stupid Christian is during math - we've gotten 9 sets of homework and he hasn't done ONE THING - and Genesis is laughing at us, when someone drops a tray that they were about to dump into the recycling booth thingie. (Ask later.) We all turn around, and see that it was some random 8th grader, and turn back around again.

Ok, here comes the whole point of the story. When we turn back around, we see that Christian is standing up at his table, and this kid named Conor is also standing up. Christian looks REALLY pissed off, for some reason, and he's got his fists clenched.

A quick look into my thoughts (skip if you want to get this story the heck over with xD):
Wow, this is gonna be good... lunch hasn't been THIS exciting for ages.
Genesis, get that huge smudge of ketchup of your chin. Gross! (JUST KIDDING!!!)
Jeez!! That musta HURT!!

That last thought popped into my head mainly because Christian's clenched fists landed on Conor's face, leaving a huge mark in his cheek. OW!! (Spencer, don't bore me with how many worse injuries you've gotten. We all love ya, but must we suffer?) Anyway, so then the dean and the V.P. come over and send them to the office, yada, yada, yada...

Today, surprise, Christian is absent - he's gotten the next best thing to expulsion: PAWS. It's kinda like in-school suspension, but WAY worse. You sit in a desk and do schoolwork ALL DAY. In a separate building from everyone else, and you only come to school for lunch. And then, at lunch, he had to sit at a little tiny table with the dean. Embarrassing much?

Then, when I was going out to the bus, he was, too, and I asked him how long he was in PAWS for. Here's our convo:

Me: Hey, Christian! How long are you in PAWS for?
Christian: *shrugs* Monday and today. Or something.
Me: Oh... how about Conor? Did he get in trouble?
Christian: No. Stupid f***ing dean didn't think he did anything.
Me: Um, okay. So you're not, like, expelled or anything.
Christian: *snorts* Why the h*** would I be expelled?
Me: I don't know, everyone said you might be but I guess not, huh?
Christian: Um, no.
Me: Oh, ok.
Christian: Why are you even TALKING to me?
Me: *shrugs* I wanted to see what was true and what was a lie. (Or something like that xD)
Christian: Um, 'kay. Well, seeya in math on Tuesday. *walks away muttering*

I heard one thing that he said: "Chyeah right. I'm sick with the flu all next week, hopefully..."

ANYWAY, that's my funny happening with Christian. The end.

Yo, yo, yo!

Okey doke, Spence, here's my lovely post. It's a conversation, as usual, and I dreamt about it last night in a dream (OMG, I dreamt it in a DREAM?! Seriously!!) and I think it's a prediction, even though our X-mas cards are already done, but... you wanted me to post something, so GOSH!!!

I'm sitting at my kitchen table, when my mom calls my name from the office room, right next door. I get up and see that my mom's on the computer, looking at pictures. "What?" I say intelligently, and she rolls her eyes.

"I want you to pick out what picture you want of you in our Christmas cards, silly." she says, and I shrug, still being oh-so-intelligent. "Do you have a preference?" she asks, actually WANTING me to be intelligent.

I sigh and say, "Indeed, mother, I have multiple preferencei."
No clue why I said "preferencei", but I felt like it. I know full well it's preferences, but yeah. Anyway. I say, making my mom roll her eyes yet again. "Ok, fine, so I like the second one and the third one." I say, faking exasperation.

My step-dad calls from the kitchen: "Dinner's ready!!"
Ok, quick note. When my step-dad yells, he makes the floor shake. When he whispers, I can hear him from upstairs if he's in the living room, and that's saying something. I grin, and my mom does too.

"So we've got about 10 minutes, I s'pose." I mutter to her, and she laughs.
Inside joke. Long-ish story. Kaliyan and Spence probably know it. (?)

And that's the end. The end. :P
