OHKAY here's a post.
TUESDAY
- Sooo, the ViQueens won last night. IN YOUR FACES, MR. GILB AND AYLIN. (Neither of whom read my blog, but whatever. :P) 30-22, I think it was? Somethin' like that. Anyway, yay. The ViQueens won.
- Kyle (awesome guy) was standing in the hallway talking to Chris, Matt, and a few other people while I was talking to Genesis (who was on her way to science). Suddenly and randomly, Christian (anger management kid) comes running down the hallway and starts like dissing Kyle, just random stuff about him and his mom and whatever. So Kyle's like "What the heck, kid, back off" and trying not to get up in his face about it, since that would get him in trouble. Christian goes "YOU CAN GO SUCK YO' MOMMA'S D***, F*****!" And swings at Kyle, who's like "Woah, seriously, back off." Christian then jumps at Kyle and spits, and this huge glob ends up on Kyle's cheek. Kyle automatically pushes Christian away, like anyone would, and since Kyle's like 6'2" and Christian's like 5'4", Christian goes flying down the hallway. They both got PAWS. Poor Kyle.
- Today I wore this sweatshirt. It's worth 50 bucks, but I got it for free since I won this raffle thingie, and it's super warm and comfortable. It says "TIGERS" across the front, standing for the football team where I got it. Now, apparently the Twins are playing the Tigers today for the playoffs. I don't follow baseball, so didn't know who the Tigers WERE. I got a grand total of 14 "Why are you wearing that?" and "GO TWINS" shouted at me. After the first 5 I made a game out of it. :D So funny...
- Switched seats in math. :( I'm with Matt though, so it's OK...Kyle's way across the room, and Isabel and Abby (who sit right next to each other) are in the group next to me, kinda far away-ish. No more hilarity :(
WEDNESDAY
- Went fossil hunting today. It was really fun, and I got super muddy. I found 6 twig-looking-things (called briozoans, I think), 2 brachipods, and 1 "Cheerio". Then we came back to school and had an 8-1 picnic thing and recorded podcasts. And I have no homework! Yippee!
- Ugh. I have religion tonight. I hate religion, because it's really preachy (in the bad way), and it's all "Believe or else!!!" and my teacher's a dimwit...the only good part is that all the people in my class are really awesome and talk and joke the whole time so we never learn anything anyway. :) Slackers FTW!
- More about the fossil hunting I guess, since otherwise today was pretty uneventful (duh). I went with Kaillan, Amanda, Stephanie, Mikayla (not MikaEla, I'd die) Kelsey, Katie P and Brynn (and more people, but those're my friends). Katie P found a star Cheerio which is 2 points extra credit, and a few people found like a TON of stuff. Mmmhm. Then I did my podcast with Kaillan and Mikayla and stuffs. But OLIVIA was there. She apparently loves me now. It's really freaky. She kept signing (like sign language) "I <3 you" from down the hill and...yeah. Creeper. OH, btw the hill was a 78 degree angle, and I pushed Ginger down it. It was so funnnnny cuz he caught onto this huge fat root, but that broke and he rolled down and almost fell into the creek...bwahahaha. Even Ms. Stauble and Mr. K were laughing. Especially Ms. Stauble; she was cracking up. Twas very funny. Anyway, so we dug in the dirt and splashed people with the creek water. Sam pushed me down the hill, but I caught onto a tree branch a few feet down and only up to my knees got dirty. So HA. :P
- Uhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmm yeah. The end. Peez.

Yes, it's another post.
Hm. So. Another eventful day.
- So today in social studies, we find out that, guess what, we have a huge test tomorrow. Out of effin nowhere. And I've never studied for a test before, so I'm like "...Oh god, what a time to learn how to study." So I'm just gonna read my notes like a million times and try to memorize the stuff and hope I don't bomb the test. And take a lot of breaks in between, cuz my head already hurts. Goshdarned studying.
- Secondly. Fraver's in a much better mood today, said (really indirectly, but I think he said) he was sorry for yesterday and that he was tired and overwhelmed with essays to correct and whatever. So then we get on with the lesson, and he's talking about 3-D and 2-D characters (or "round and flat"), and bouncing this random ball around. I knew he was gonna do something with it, but I admit that I was very surprised when he said, in the middle of nowhere, "I'm going to toss this at the wall, and I don't care what it hits." I was even MORE surprised when he actually chucked it (and I mean chucked it, not tossed.) at the wall and it went flying across the room and into someone's shoulder. Then he threw it at the other wall. And sooner or later, he was just chucking the ball at walls and we were all getting hit. So THEN he walks up to me and goes, "Do you think you're a round character, Emily? Do you change and grow?" I nodded, kind of guessing what he was going to do, and he takes my head in one hand, pushes it down, and whips the ball right at my head. It bounced off, and didn't hurt all that much, but still. Way to be.
- Also on the topic of Fraver abusing his students. He has this rubber chicken that hangs from his projector screen. When people write on the board, he swings it at their heads. This isn't something that's happened yet, but I have some 9th- and 10th-grader friends who've all informed me that it's coming up. They kindly refrained from warning me about his whipping the ball at people's heads...but oh well. It was amusing. Yet scary. Cuz...yeah.
- Math class was funny again. We were doing our work, and Kyle was having issues, and Abby had some issues, and Kyle was flicking hand sanitizer at Isabel and I, and stealing my notebook and copying from it, (He got caught too, but Mrs. Stauble's cool, so she just teased him and let him off the hook)...just stuff like that, all together to make for a very funny class. *nodnod*
- Health is so...blah. Got stuck with The Quiet Kid and one of the "I'm too cool for classwork" guys in a group for a project. So, in short, I'm doing my own project. Sigh.
- Science is still boring. ZzzZzzzZzzz.
- Saw GAP today! Miss Piggy's all better now; sounds great, looks great, all that jazz. :) Uhmmm...yeah. Not much to update in that area of news.
And yeah. I just felt like posting again, cuz I'm cool that way. :D (Ahem, Kaliyan. For multiple reasons.)

Post
Sooo, here's yet another post! Woot! (BTW, this is the 111th post. WOOT!!)
- Play practice started today. I'm the Sandman, and I get to wear an awesome cloak and say cool stuff and (BEST PART) throw sand at Emilee Hassanzedeh. She's the most popular girl in school, and yet she's a total and complete byotch. Anyway, yeah...Austin, Claire, Clare, and a bunch of other people that I haven't seen for ages are all in it, as well as people I see a lot like Ali, Brynn, Alex, and them. The play's Hansel and Gretel, but it's got a ton of twists and awesomeness added to it, so it's actually cool. *nodnod*
- Got 100% on my super hard quiz! Score-age! Although, we might be getting another one tomorrow, because everyone was half asleep in class today and weren't raising their hands...Again, I know that his tactic will work for about 90% of everybody, but still. It was annoying.
- Ryan accepted my friend request! Super happiness! But he doesn't have any pictures on his FB account. :( So I can't steal his pics. Sigh.
- Um. I'm eating a brownie. It's delicious.
- I loves Dante Shephard. He's super cool. I also loves Peter.
- OH MY GOSH so in math today, Isabel (semi-popular-yet-still-nice girl) and Kyle (pretty-popular-and-totally-hilarious-and-awesome guy), along with my friend Abby and me, who are in a "work group", were doing our work, and Kyle was having issues and asked for my notebook. So I gave it to him, and was waiting for him to finish reading my work, and he made this totally hilarious face that I totally can't describe. So I immediately start cracking up, and Isabel's like "What?" so I go "Kyle's...face." Which makes Kyle's awesome face go away, and so she's all sad cuz she missed it. So THEN, Kyle gives my notebook back and we start working again, and then he makes it again and THIS time Isabel saw it first, so she goes "Is that it?" And I look up and start cracking up again, so Isabel and I both laugh for like 10 years, and Abby's all focused on her work. I go "Wow, it's weird how we're both cracking up, Kyle's laughing, and Abby's just totally ignoring us and doing her work." Then Abby looks up and grins and goes back to her work. And then we continue laughing. It was just insanely fun. :D
- Had another dream last night. Same as the one from a while ago. It was the one where Rae had wings and flew over my house and dropped a letter, and before I read it I woke up and whatever. *nodnod* Usually my dreams don't repeat like that unless I get more the next time, but it was exactly the same.
- Hm. Spencer was on for a while on...was it Saturday or yesterday? Anyway, that was fun. I wish he never got a life so he could talk to us more. :(
- Uh, more about school...hmm. OH. Health is boring, history is incredibly boring, math is fun cuz of my awesome work group, science is fine I guess. Going on a fossil excavation on Thursday. In the meantime, we get to do stupid things that are really easy for me. Physics and biology are super easy, specially biology. Which is Mr. K's forte. So basically I'm a supergeek. Good to know. :D But yeah. School's boring. We're doing a thing on drawing in art class, and half the class sucks at art and half the class is built up of amazing artists. Which is interesting. Um, and the Spanish teacher is awesome. And my PT teacher. So yay. :)
- AND AND AND I forgot.
Bye.

Le Postageness
Hm. So. Updatethness.
- Firstly, and freshest in my mind, is the fact that my English teacher was not kidding when he said that his tests and quizzes were hard. HOLY CRAP. He talks at the speed of light, calls on random people at any time during his lecture and asks questions about something that we either haven't gone over yet or went over near the beginning (or days ago), expects you to be right, then in 2 days gives you a quiz. Now, I find myself pretty knowledgeable about figurative language and all, but this quiz was impossible. I'm the 2nd person on his "List", of people who've answered the most questions correctly and right away, etc, but it was still really hard. The 1st one on the List is like insanely good, though. Like, better-than-Spencer good. Anyway, so we take this quiz today, and we have to find 6 metaphors, 3 similes, 2 hyperboles, and 2 examples of personification. I swear on my life that there weren't 6 metaphors, 2 hyperboles, or 2 examples of personification. The similes were easy, though...otherwise, I swear to god. But Max (the 1st one on the List), said he found everything but 2 metaphors on the first page. o.O Anyway. Yeah. English is hard, but I know for a fact that it'll work. I don't learn anything when my teachers don't push me. If they're just like "OK, you know it, the end", it doesn't help me. Fraver's like "OK, you know it, but do you know THIS? Well, learn it!" Which helps a lot more. Anyway. Long section.
- Jasalex hasn't been on the bus again since he came back. Sigh.
- Stalker-Kid from my bus hasn't been stalking me yet. Which is a good thing. He's actually been getting off on his own stop lately. Yay! :) No stalker kid!
- Um...made Honors Choir and the dinner theatre production. Which is to be expected, cuz both directors love me...
- I still feel like I got run over by a steamroller, from 1st period English. God. But the 9th graders all think he's wonderful, so hopefully...
- Hmm. Well, Aylin has a huge crush on this new kid, who rides my bus, and it's kinda funny cuz I think he's sort of creepy. And Paige is awesome and still completely ripped (It's insane!! Her biceps are almost as big around as my neck! No joke!), and Genesis is sick. And that's my GAP update.
- Math is good, Kyle is getting less annoying, Drew decided not to pick on me this year, new girl is following me around like a lost puppy because she has this weird notion that I'm popular (Well, I'm popular as in lots-of-friends, but my friends and I are definitely not considered "cool"...), this girl that I convinced was going to Hogwarts (in 5th grade. Long, hilarious story.) has now become emo and has begun cutting herself, Health is booooring...
- Speaking of Health! Mr. Miller's cool and all, but I can't wait till Ms. Kellen gets out of maternity leave, because she's apparently a huge riot. Whenever she saw Lisa, my 10th-grader friend, she apparently would go "Hm. Balls." at random times, which made Lisa crack up. Mmmmhm. OH. And she (Lisa, not Ms. Kellen) thinks Miller is cute. Bwahaha.
- Speaking (a while ago) of math. I sat next to my friend Abby, which is where Kyle's supposed to sit, and after a while of trying to drag me out, trade the desks, etc, etc, Kyle just sat in my seat (right in front of me) and said that it wouldn't be his fault when the teacher yelled at us/me. When the teacher finally noticed, she went, "Did you and Kyle switch seats?" I said yes. She just nodded, said "OK", and went back to her lesson. I win, Kyle. I win.
- Uhhhmmm...science is boring. I sit next to the quiet kid who never says anything, EVER, and gets straight-A-minuses. Social studies is boring, too. I sit next to a quiet-ish girl who has recently decided that she wants to hang out with the hardcore people. She's a total prep, and yet...Anyway. Boring.
- And it's Friday! YAY!!
- I just leased a horse. His name is Indie, and he's totally kickass and has no trot or lope whatsoever. He just goes straight from a walk to a canter...kinda like a times-10 of Denali (who I will always love most. <3). He also has an awesome name. Seriously, isn't Indie an awesome name? :) I ride Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. And then I have stupid freaking Faith Formation on Wednesdays. ><"
- Goin' to the Parade of Homes tomorrow, probably.
- Most likely going to the Gunflint Chocolate Fest! WOOOOT!! Gunflint is my...3rd or 4th home, cuz it's so kickarse and awesome, and chocolate is awesome too. So it're really awesome. So there. <3
- Hmm...the actual lease of Indie starts on Tuesday.
- Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I have no idea what I was going to write here. But I was going to write something. And it was cool. I might put it in here if I remember.
- I'm sorta working on TT.
- Rae and I really need to pick up our pace on Fandoms. Cuz it died. And is not in my inbox right now, so I believe that it is Rae's turn.
- My head hurts. And my feet hurt. Cuz this other horse stepped on me. His name was Tango, and he's an idiot and has the weirdest darn gaits I've ever experienced. So obviously I vetoed him. :P Cuz Indie was cooler anyway.
- And that's it, cuz I think this is probably gonna be a long post right now anyway, and I have nothing else to post about, and stuffs.
Peezowt. (Yep, I stole it. Whatcha gonna do bout it Spence?)

Update-ness
I know I just posted yesterday, but today was semi-productive, so I'm gonna post again. Burn. xP
- Jasalex is baaaack! He wasn't riding the bus the first few weeks of school, which was weird, but he rode today. And I just so happened to have my duct tape (we used it for the lip sync thing at camp, and I forgot to take it out), so I duct taped his mouth for old times' sake. He took it off right away, but still. :P
- Got these weird biodots. It's taped to my right hand, and it's kind of like a mood ring, just more sensitive, and a dot. But I have to somehow keep it on my hand for 3 days, and it's nearly fallen off already...so...prolly not gonna happen.
- Saw Kaliyan again. She was walking out to marching band. I yelled her name, but she either was ignoring me or didn't hear me. Mhm.
- Started this weird project in art. It's weird, but hopefully it'll actually help me draw better...cuz so far I think it is. But anyway, it's this upside-down dude and you're supposed to draw him without thinking about what the lines represent, just drawing the lines, and so far I think it's helping, cuz mine's pretty awesome looking so far.
- Kyle, this guy in my math group, has some serious issues. With more than math, but what I was going to post about is that he argues with me every day about a different answer, and he's usually got some random weird idea. Just saying.
- Saw GAP today on the way to health. It's awesome cuz their science room is right next to my health room, and they both have science 2nd core, so I see them almost every day for at least 3 minutes. Usually more, cuz Mr. G is kickass and Mr. Miller doesn't care.
- Speaking of Mr. G, he's REALLY AWESOME. I'm jealous of upstairs for having him. Cuz he's really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY awesome. And he's gonna come into health tomorrow. Which is cool. But WAH I wanted Mr. G. :(
- Hmm. I'm really tired, and I should probably write TT, but I'm not, cuz Rae's evil and told me not to do what I was going to do, and then won't tell me what I SHOULD do...
- And I'm hungry. So I'm gonna go eat. Peace.

Campness
So. Just a few highlights from the trip this weekend. Mhm.
- We snuck out to go to McDonald's once. That was pretty cool. Nice camping experience, right? Driving up to Mickey D's for breakfast...haha. Their hash browns are GOOD, though!! I was like "WOAH!" Anyway. Yep.
- When we were driving BACK from McDonald's, we were listening to 101.3 KDWB, which is like the pop/hip hop station that all the teens listen to pretty much, and we were like "I bet we could be louder than Hannah" a really loud girl "if Party in the USA comes on." And I was like "Watch it totally come on next." And, lo and behold, BAM! Next song was Party in the USA. Heck yes. SO AWESOME.
- We won 1st place in the lip sync contest, over all. And we were counted as seniors (9-11th graders), cuz we're just that awesome and have 3 seniors in our group. But we still won 1st place with our awesome rap song. Woot.
- Hm...we got really hyper a lot.
- OOH. We had a huge splash fight when we were canoeing, and Lisa (an awesome 10th grader in our troop) pushed off of my canoe and almost tipped me over, which was really fun. And I got super wet, so I wasn't hot for the rest of the day. :D But the other girl in my canoe, Kelsey, didn't know how to paddle (she claimed she did, but she only put about 2 inches of the paddle in the water, so...), so I basically paddled our canoe around by myself. And she rested about 6 times because she was tired, even though she wasn't doing anything ANYWAY...anyway. Splash fight was awesome.
- AWESOME PSYCHIC RADIO-NESS!!!! WOOT.
- We hosted the Medallion Hunt, which is like a scavenger hunt for this medallion (duh), where the hosts put clues on the door and you have to find it. And our hiding place was under the sink in the guy's bathroom. And it was really awesome. And we gave really weird random clues to people who asked, so none of the people who tried to cheat got anywhere near it. :D We win.
- We got two "sister troops", cuz our real one ditched us, so we hung out with some people frommmmmm EP (I think) who were 7th graders and super awesome, and we made s'mores with them, and then their sister troop came (cuz theirs ditched them too) and ours called my cell phone...so we left our adopted sister troop and hung out with our real sister troop, who were 5th graders. One of them, Megan, was like dissing us, and Angela (awesome girl. Love her.) asked her if she had any brothers. She had 2 older brothers, and we were all like "Yeah, it shows." So when Lisa and I were getting a drink, she showed us where it was, and I was like "So how old are your brothers?" and she goes "13 and 16. They're losers. LIKE YOU!!" I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes. She came up to my waist. It was so cute.
- Uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhmmmm...after I left, I went to a stable. And the lady there was a world-famous jumper. And I was like "Oh. Wow. Hi." Cuz I didn't know until we got there. And thennnn Starbucks (the horse) stepped on my foot, cuz he was a dork, so now my toe is all bruised and it hurts. And ohmigoodness Starbucks's trot and lope and canter are all SO WEIRD. SOOOOO WEIRD. It's like...really weird. I can't even explain it. o.O
- Then I went home and worked on my memoir. Which is about my skipping 3rd grade. And it's 562 words long. And it's really dumb. And I also worked on my poster for social studies, which only took like 2 seconds, plus a little bit to download the font I wanted onto the desktop. So yeah.
- OH. Food. We ate:
--- Dinner on Friday was DQ. I had chicken fingers and a huge chocolate cone. So did like everyone else. Not very exciting.
--- Breakfast on Saturday was McDonald's, cuz we didn't want to wake up early to make crepes, and we felt like it. So we snuck out and I had some pancakes, bacon, and a hash brown. Which was amazing. And some apple juice.
--- Lunch on Saturday was ravioli, fried over the fire. It was actually really good, even though it sounds kinda gross.
--- Dinner on Saturday was PIZZA PUDGY PIES!!!!! And s'mores, and apple donuts, and corn torches. 'Cept I didn't have a corn torch cuz I have braces. But they looked pretty good.
--- Breakfast today was crepes. They were delicioso. I put chocolate chips and whipped cream on mine. And we also had hot cocoa (which I brought, even though no one thought we'd want it. WELL everyone wanted it. So burn peeps. :D) and leftover apple donuts and muffins and stuff.
And then we left. The end. :D

Pain
You've never experienced pain if you haven't had to lug around a backpack that contained:
- 20-ish pound laptop
- 5-10 pound binder
- 3 pound math binder (only to/from math)
- Little teeny graph notebook. Prolly .5 pound or something. (to/from math)
- Fricking 30-pound 9th grade algebra textbook! (to/from math)
- 4 pound science binder (to/from science)
- 2 pound science notebook {to/from science)
- Freaking...like...a million pound social studies textbook, to/from SS
And probably more, which I'm forgetting. Holy HECK my back hurts. And this is only the beginning...sigh.
In other news, my retarded stepdad came 20 minutes late to pick me up from Dolce auditions, which I passed with flying colors and a "your range has gotten a lot better! Have you been practicing?" from the choir teacher. Because that's how idiotic he was (stepdad came 20 mins late, remember? :P).
It was somewhat a plus, however, because without her knowing it (cuz that's just the kind of creeper I am :D), I watched Kaliyan march. Even though I lost her after a little bit. :( They were doing pass-throughs (I think they're called) and some other stuff. And they have these huge long yellow lists of moves. It's insane.
Ummm...yeah. The laptops are muy impresionante. Even though they weigh a bajillion pounds. But now the school year has officially begun, cuz we got our first "real" project. Yaaaay. T.T
Math is easy right now, but we're reviewing stuff that I learned in 6th grade. Which is also what was on the standardized test. Which is HARD TO REMEMBER, cuz I learned it 2 years ago and stuffed it in the back of my mind. Especially cuz it was mainly geometry...which I inherited a disliking for from my mom.
Spanish is the same as math; super easy, but we're just reviewing. It's all comin' back to me now. (I'm surprised that I could remember what "awesome" was. That was like February. :D) Me llamo en la clase de espanol es Carmen, y Caleb (el ano pasado, el era Carlos) cambio (changed...I think that's the word...) su nombre a Cheech (dunno if that's how you spell it. Prolly not). CHEECH! Muy, muy divertido.
If you don't know Spanish, this kid in my class, Caleb, who was Carlos last year, changed his name to Cheech. And for those of you who TOTALLY don't know Spanish, my name in Spanish class is Carmen.
Hmm...what else? Spencer was on yesterday!! That rocked!
And there's another play this year at school!!!!!! Not a musical, just a play, but still! :D :D :D Try-outs are next week, and I'm SO there. Mrs. Gillis is the only director too since there's no music, therefore no music director (Mrs. Ohnsorg).
BUT YAY!!! So awesome!!
Hmmm...my back still hurts. It's definitely worth it, but it huuuurts. :( Also...um...just now finished with my tarea de clase de espanol. And my algebra homework. Algebra 2 (I think that's what I'm doing. Maybe 3. But def not 1; we did bits of that in both 6th and 7th grade.) isn't actually all that hard, IMHO. Mostly easy stuff like algebra diamonds, a little bit of Order of Operations, some integers, graphing, stuff like that. Hopefully it stays this easy. :D
Hmmmm...again, my English teacher curse is not yet broken. Got another creeper, though they ARE getting less creepy.
5th - Just evil, and not really an English teacher anyway
6th - Emotionally and mentally scarred me for life. Holy crap.
7th - Same as 6th, but in a different way. Maybe creepier, but maybe not...his creepy-ness is more subtle, but maybe creepier.
8th - Talks too fast, does really weird theatrical things (reminds me of 6th, but the stuff isn't QUITE as creepy), has weird catch phrases for stuff, "WITH A VENGEANCE!" (long story), that sorta thing. Hard to explain.

P.S:
Awesome quote of the day:
"I'm not perfect, and I don't claim to be, but before you start pointing fingers, make sure your own hands are clean."
- Jess S. (:
Might totally steal that and make it into lyrics in a song or something. That'd be cool. :D

Anti-Twilightness
So the question was, "Who's better for Bella, Edward or Jacob?"
My favorite "answers":
Probably Edward, because he's an arrogant asshole and she's a whiny bitch, so they go together. Bella and Edward are both stupid, just like the stupid Twatlight series they're from. Vampires don't sparkle.
Vampires don't f*cking sparkle.
Twilight is bullshit fanfiction.
The best match would be a 800mm Gustav shell. Or five. (Meaning, for dumb people, that she should be shot.)
edward becasue hes a control freak and shes a ninny little B**** plus i want jacob to myself =]
Neither. Boring Mary Sues don't get to have boyfriends, no matter how obnoxious (Jacob) or emotionally abusive (Edward) they are.
is there an option for Who Gives A Crap?
They both act equally lifeless (no lives). I've seen better acting from statues.
wtf, who is bella?
i'm on team emmett. just cuz (: i wouldnt relly want him with bella but just cuz (:
F*CK TWILIGHT. (Like 17 different comments' worth)
twilight sucks (Around 9 comments)
stephanie meyer is retarted
twilight is terrible :/
edward. hes a mary sue dumbass, shes a mary sue dumbass. they both suck and jacob is way too good for any peice of sh*t like her.
wut a great love story. hmm, who should the girl (with such low self esteem that she'll give up her entire life including family, friends, and career goals) be with? the vampire who only wants to eat her, or the over protective werewolf dude? tough choice...how bout she shud just go commit suicide u kno she wants to.
jacob doesn't deserve her crap. so edward cuz he does deserve her crap. cuz he's crap to...
they should all die.
I wish she would just take both and shut you twitards up.
jacob bc Edward is gay
TWILIGHT IS STUPID
Ugh twilight.
Harry Potter! duh!!
neither..twilight sucks
Anyway. Woot. Realistic and intelligent people FTW.

School.
Well, I don't really have much to say about it, but school started today. I'm an 8th grader. I feel so old, and then next year I'll be a little one again. Hah. Anyway.
FRIENDS:
- GAP are still GAP
- I think (hope) Kelsey's grown up a little bit and won't be such a cling-on all the time
- This nice girl from Dolce, Abby's in a lot of my classes
TEACHERS:
- Mrs. Taylor, the professora de espanol, is really awesomely cool (:D).
- My English teacher curse is STILL not broken, even though I was sure it would be this year
- Mr. K's still cool, but it was still kinda awkward today. And his back is better.
- Um. Mrs. Dahlgren is OK. I guess.
- We got Mr. Miller for gym/health instead of Mrs. Kellen!! WOOT!! Mrs. Kellen is a creepy lady, and Mr. Miller is a cool, young-ish guy. So yay.
Speaking of health, there was this dude from the army today that came in, and I swear I laughed for the entire class period. He was making fun of Andrew Strom (this dorkface who enjoys making fun of all the actually intelligent people) and guys in general. And we did the horse and rider puzzle thing, which I've known how to do since I was like 3, and this weird game that I'd never heard of before. Which was totally un-health-ish. Can't wait till we get to learn about STDs and drugs and alcohol. Yippee. -_-
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand...uuuuuuuuummm...Brynn isn't in any of my classes. Which is stupid. Cuz she has her exploratories backwards. Which is stupid. And stuff.
What the heck?? Random translation of everything I wrote into some random language. That's not creepy at all...um, so we've got standardized tests next week for all of our classes, on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as a bunch of legal crap for the laptops and whatever. The other team got an essay and a quiz and all sorts of stuff, as well as the standardized test. God, poor 8-2. But they don't get the legal papers. BUT they don't get laptops. Just this one cart of them.
OH OH OH OH KALIYAN!!!! 7TH GRADE GOT LAPTOPS AT YOUR SCHOOL!!! AND THEY GET TO TAKE THEM HOME!! JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT! CUZ IT'S FUNNY!
Hmmmm. What else? Rockin' out to Owl City (Rainbow Veins) right now, totally exhausted for some reason. And...yeah. That's it.
So peace out.

Some Dreams
Had a dream last night. It was pretty cool, but I'm like 99% sure it wasn't a prediction, because a) it involves Rae with wings, and b) she's flying over my house. So it's not a prediction, and it was really short, but it was cool.
So I'm sitting at home, minding my own business, when suddenly someone goes, "Hey, Em! Catch!" from above me. So I look up, and I see Rae flying above me, with wings. Somehow I'm not surprised by that at all, and just catch the scrap of paper that she dropped. I hold it up, but just before I can read it, I wake up in bed. Ugh.
ANOTHER dream, also last night, but before that one. This one's 99% sure it's not a prediction, either, although it'd be MAJORLY awesome if it was. Majorly awesome. :P
I'm getting off an airplane and walking into an airport, and I see a guy and 4 kids, just standing around. I run up to the guy (whose face I can't see) and in the dream I know he's my dad. He goes, "Why don't we pretend that we don't know who each other are, at all, and make this a little less awkward?" I agree, and he introduces himself; I do the same, and we shake hands. "These are my kids. Most of them are your half-siblings, but--"
He breaks off, and the oldest steps forward. I gasp. "We've talked a few times," he says.
"You have got to be kidding me," I say, and the tall, brown-haired boy grins and shakes his head.
"Nope. Um, I'm Spencer. Even though you probably already grasped that. Nice to finally meet you in person." He holds out his hand, which I shake. We continue to talk, and it's all very happy and everything, but kind of personal-ish. Cuz it's about my dad, and some...personal stuff.
To check to make absolutely SURE that he's Spencer, towards the end of the conversation, I go, "What's the password?"
He laughs and goes, "6/9/10, or June 6th, 2010. Otherwise known as today's date."
Then I'm at my house, video chatting with Rae, who's all freaking out that Spencer's my brother and everything, and that *COUGH* she actually gets to see him, because he's in front of the camera and everything. My parents (my mom and dad!!! :D :D :D) are watching the news in the background, and suddenly there's this thing about a teenaged boy gone missing after a freak attack by an ancient organization called the Illuminati. Spencer and I, and Rae, who heard over the vid chat, spaz out.
Later that night, I'm asleep in my bed, and Spencer's snoring in the top bunk (which is magically clean and not Disney Princesses [long story. Kaliyan knows. :D]). Suddenly I wake up and there's a hand over my mouth, and I see none other than JOEY above me. He frowns. "You didn't believe me," he hisses.
I take his hand off my mouth, mime zipping my lips, and go get my flashlight from where it's hanging. Then I shoot it in my eyes, showing that I do have the so-called 'Seer's band'
(which, yes, I do. Always have).
"You didn't believe me, either," I whispered. Joey's eyes widen when he sees the 'bands'. "I have them, Spencer--" I gesture to the top bunk "--has them, and my dad has them. Yes, my dad, and SPENCER's dad. Which you aren't. So get over that, please."
Joey frowns again. "I know I'm not his dad," he says. "But I thought you were lying about the bands. Does Kaliyan have them too?" I'm surprised at how...not-insane he sounds in real life, which is deja vu-ish, since I was surprised about that before, via voice chat.
"No, she doesn't," I say. "But these aren't 'Seer's bands'. I've had them all my life, and it's just the color of my eyes. It runs in the family, and a lot of people have them. No big deal."
And then I woke up, randomly. Ta-da. Those are my lovely dreams. I know you loved them. :D Buh-bye.

Valleyfair!!
OK, so I went to a local amusement park, Valleyfair, today with Kaliyan and my friend Brynn, and...I don't know. Here's a post about it. Cuz I wanna.
We went in, and went on Enterprise, which is a cool ride where you sit in this cage-like thing and go around in a circle and are almost upside-down, even though you're not strapped in or anything. Anyway, Kaliyan and I sang "I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz, which was really fun too. :D Then we went on some other rides, which were cool but not like OMG YAY THAT'S SO AMAZINGLY AWESOME WOOOOOOO.
And then we got to the Looping Starship.
Now, I'm getting ahead of myself. Beforehand, while we were walking in between rides, we were being high and decided to do something we'd read about on MLIA. So, we just walked normally with our hands up, and asked cool people for high-fives (there weren't many). I got 11 total, I think, and Kaliyan got 2 because she wasn't asking.
But THEN, when we were in line for the Looping Starship, I told Kaliyan to ask this blonde boy/guy/kid who was standing next to her for a high-five. She looked at me funny, but did, and he high-fived her. Real exciting, right? Yeah, well, it gets better.
So when we get on the ride, he's in our row (along with others, of course), and Kaliyan goes, "We should yell 'I'm on a boat'." Because the ride was shaped like a boat. I agreed, and added that we should do it when we were upside-down for the first time. We passed it along the row to dude-from-the-line and another kid. And we learned that dude-from-the-line dropped his hat in chocolate ice cream, which is sucky.
Soon we (Kaliyan and I) were going "Not yet...wait for it...next time for sure! Okay...okay, maybe next time...wait for it...go! I'M ON A BOAT!!!" while Brynn was just sitting there, thinking we were weirdos. Soon blonde-kid and the other kid joined in, and then blonde-kid goes "WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FAST FOOD?" really loud. Some people shouted out stuff like "Burger King", "Wendy's", "Arby's", "McDonald's", etc (Kaliyan and I both said McDonald's). He goes "REALLY? CUZ I LIKE SUBWAY. EAT FRESH!!!!" and everyone changed their answers to Subway. Yeah. He was cool.
So we kept yelling stuff, and by the end of the ride we'd decided that our row was the awesomest. Then, when we got off, Kaliyan asked blonde-kid for a hug. He gave her the classic "WTF" look, and said no. But then he turned back, probably to go get something or something, and Kaliyan just hugged him. So I hugged him too. :D
Then we went onto...one of the roller coasters (I forgot. Teehee. Renegade? Wild Thing? I dunno), and dude-from-the-line was there. Kaliyan said that we hadn't asked what his name was, so of course I yell (he's about 5 people in front of us), "Hey dude! What's your name?" His name is Collin. I don't know how many L's there are, though, since I didn't ask him about that.
Aaaanyway, immediately after I asked his name he started being very involved with something on his phone. Kaliyan and I both agree that he was trying to avoid us. Then we went on the ride and had a good time and afterward didn't see him again. Which was too bad, cuz it was kinda fun to "stalk" him.
Um. Then we rode more rides and got really wet and got Dippin' Dots, which were good. Brynn kept dropping hers all over. It was kinda funny. Anyway, that's the thing about Collin.
Other news:
- Kaliyan made me go on the Steel Venom, which is this thing that's U shaped, with the right side of the U all twisty, and you sit in a hangy-downy seat and go rocketing from left to right, going straight up and straight down at like a bajillion miles per hour. Surprisingly, it wasn't all that scary. Which is good.
- I got wet on a ride I've never gotten wet on before. Which isn't really that great, but I felt like posting about it since I really can't think of anything to post that you people would care about...so I'm trying to fill up space. :D
- Also got SOAKING wet on a ride that I usually get soaking wet on. Which I kind of already mentioned.
- Then, after getting soaking wet, we got Dippin' Dots. Mine were chocolate, Kaliyan got Cookie Dough, and Brynn (she who dropped a lot of them) got Cookies 'n' Cream. They were very yummy, especially since I was craving ice cream.
- Kaliyan and I (and my mom) also got Mountain Dew there. VERY NUTRITIOUS. Good job, us. (FYI, we were there from 11am-6pm. So Dippin' Dots and Mtn Dew was basically our lunch. Again, good job, us.)
- Uhhhh, and ummmm...I discovered that Kaliyan's braces, supposedly black and lime green, are black and this diluted whitish-seafoam color that looks like it'd be glow-in-the-dark lime green or something, but it's not. Which is really sad. Poor Kaliyan.
- On the topic of braces, I got mine on Wednesday. They're lime green (like, actually lime green), teal, and cobalt, and they don't hurt at all any more. Yaaaay!! :D Anywho, yeah, that's a pretty major-ish thing that I didn't post about. I mean, it's only taken up a bullet point so far, and half the bullet point is me explaining that I haven't posted about it. Including that sentence. So you know, I'm just gonna shut up now.
- I'm Plurking, and randomly wanting some chocolate milk. Hm. I'm weird.
- Just realized that I'm writing about my braces and Plurk and chocolate milk now, so I'm kind of straying from the topic...so I'll stop posting because I don't really have anything to say any more.

P.S: READ KALIYAN'S POST TOO!!! *nodnod* She posted about some of the same things as me (about Valleyfair at least), but in different words. So read her post too. Yep.
P.P.S: Be sympathetic to Rae, who's starting school tomorrow. But she gets more holidays than the rest of us (saints' days, etc) since she goes to a Catholic school...so I guess that's OK. Either way, sorry Rae. :( I'll miss you and I hope that Wing It still gets updated often.
P.P.P.S: On the subject of updating, sorry to Rae and others that Fandom is totally stuck right now. HAHA I'll go try to write some of that.
P.P.P.P.S: Kaliyan just posteded her post. I should post mine now too. So BYE.

Mah Dream
OK, so, as human beans are wont to do, I had a dream last night. And I actually remembered it. :O HOLY COW. Anyway. I didn't remember ALL of it, but I'm just gonna list the main parts for y'all. ;) Here goes...
- So I wake up at 8:00am and get ready for school; I don't feel like this is a late hour to get up at all, apparently.
- I walk out into the street and stop at a bus stop that's not really mine...
- The bus comes. It's one of those awesome ones with the comfortable seats. We ride to school.
- When I get to my locker, even though I get the impression that it's the first day of school, all my stuff is inside already. I take some of it out and go upstairs to my old primetime (apparently this is all set in the 7-1 hallway...), where GAP is standing outside, facing the door and talking to each other.
- I glomp them in this really funny, way-too-animated way.
- They grin and glomp me back, and we go downstairs, periodically glomping each other again.
- Mne passes us in the hall and goes "Welcome back" in this really creepy way.
- Mrs. Gillis is kneeling on the floor by my locker, and I help her with something really weird that involves carving something...I can't remember that part. But then I get some papers for her from her room, and they include print-outs of YouTube pages, with videos that actually played! I totally wish.
- Get randomly glomped by GAP again. Glomp back.
- Say goodbye to GAP and went up to Mrs. G's room, which is apparently my prime time. Even though it wasn't really.
Then I woke up, and saw that it was 5:54. How fun. Wrote the dream down in a notebook, tossed and turned until ~ 6:20, went back to sleep. Totally and completely passed out, one of those I-blink-once-and-hours-have-passed things. When I woke up again, it was 7:30. I rolled my eyes and went back to sleep again, and had this dream. Which I don't remember much of, but it was a pretty interesting dream.
- I'm in social studies, apparently the first period of my day. And the weird thing is, Mr. K (my 6th grade science teacher, and soon-to-be 8th grade science teacher) is teaching it.
- So he talks about random stuff that I can't remember and isn't really all that interesting.
- Then suddenly he doesn't look like Mr. K anymore, but he still IS. Like, in the dream, I know it's still him. But he has a skinnier face, and his eyes are slanted, and he has short-cut brown hair. Very strange.
- And then there's more random talking stuff that I just forgot because Rae is evil.
- Aaaaaaaaaaand then...nothing. Buh-bye.

Obama
If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?
If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?
If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?
If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as “proof” of what a dunce he is?
If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on “Earth Day”, would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?
If George W. Bush’s administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually “get” what happened on 9-11?
If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?
If George W.. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans , would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?
If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have
approved?
If George W.. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?
So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 5 months -- so you'll have three years and seven months to come up with an answer.

So...
So, um, the last post was really long and I felt like making a new one, even though there's not much going on in my world right now. So here's an update. :D
- Got spacers in today. It was the exact same thing as last time, just on the top, too. They don't hurt at all, duh, because spacers don't hurt (for me at least...although I didn't think anyone else's did either?), and...um...the molds didn't taste nearly as bad as last time I had them. Which is very good. Last time I got molds I was about ready to throw up. They were SOOOO gross. My jaw itself hurts from opening so far for so long, but otherwise it's all good. Getting zee braces in like a week or something. And...yeah. That's the orthodontia thing.
- Just got back from camp, obviously, as you saw very clearly in the last post. It was really fun, and I made all the specialists freak out because I got Denali to slow trot. I MISS DENALI :(( I want my baby back. She's so amazing, and exactly what I like in a horse. She wants to go fast, but if you know what you're doing (which I evidently do now, since I TOTALLY GOT HER TO SLOW-TROT!! *victory dance*) she'll go slowly for you. But anyway, you people should've seen Redd and Freckles and Monty and Piper's faces. Priceless.
- Speaking of horses, my mom and I are looking for a couple to lease, and so far, so bad. All the horses I tried out on Saturday were either slow pokes or weird, funky direct rein. I've learned direct rein, just not like that. Anyway, they were also terribly trained, which I could tell right away, and the lady was like "Hold your hands straight out, don't bend your elbows at ALL unless you're pulling them in for a stop. No, no, hold them straight out in front of you, not there," blah blah blah. DUDE. LADY. When riding Western, you put your hand(s) RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HORN. Durr-ka-durr. Anyway, needless to say, we vetoed those horses, even though it was by far the best grounds of the places we'd been. Too bad...that place had 2,000 acres of trails. Which is a lot, for those of you who are like "Uhhhhmmmm ok..." right now. But oh well.
- Um...hm. Going to the fair with a couple of my cousins tomorrow, after hanging out at my grandma's house with said cousins this afternoon and tomorrow. Will be back manana at some point. Dunno when. G-ma's picking me up in a few hours, JSYK. Umm...and...my spacers are creeping up my teeth because I had some weirdo who didn't know how to do it put them on. Yaaaay. T.T
And...um...yeah...

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack!!!
Soooo, as most if not all of you know, I went to the River/Elk River/camp/heaven on earth for the last week-ish, and since I'm just cool that way I'm gonna just post a quick summary of what we did there, and...yeah. It's a lot, so be prepared. ;) Anyway, enjoy the summary of campness. :D
SUNDAY - HALF DAY
12:45 - Leave for camp, kinda sad because no one was online, so I couldn't say goodbye to anyone.
2:00 - Arrive at camp, go in and say hi to Monty (riding director), Scout (riding manager), and Winona (lifeguard), who were at the front desk. Get lice and fever checks, and basically get signed in that I'm healthy and whatever. Annoying, but it keeps people with lice out of camp and stuff. ;)
2:30 - Checks are done, drive up to horse-side and just pretty much set my stuff on a random bed. Watch some people go in and out and kind of just sit there awkwardly. Say goodbye to mom.
3:00 - Giggles (counselor) figures out that we're all really bored and awkward and decides to play games in the field with us. We play stuff like Elbow Tag, Rock, Mafia, and, after a while, Rush. Learn a couple people's names over the course of that, and figure out who all is in my cabin/group.
4:00 - Go back to the cabin and unpack. Kind of stare at the people in my cabin and make stilted conversations with the people who'll respond. Just hang out.
5:00 - Walk the mile or so down to program/wimpy/NCE/etc. side of camp for dinner.
5:45 - Do flag. Yippee. So fun. Not. The CITs do it, though, so it's not the worst EVER or anything...
6:00 - Go into dinner, where we have these beef tacos and a couple other things. It's delicious. :D Sit with a couple people from my cabin.
6:30: Do capers/clean-up jobs/chores. I was the scraper. Don't know why you'd need to know that.
7:00 - Capers are done and we went down to campfire, where we did this really lame skit that I'm not even going to tell you about because it was so lame. Figured out that our specialist was Redd (YAY).
9:00 - Campfire's over, and we walk up to horse side in the dark. Go into Pinto (our cabin) and get ourselves ready for bed, also sort of talking with the people in the cabin.
10:00 - Flashlight time. Figure out that my flashlight's totally dead. Darn.
MONDAY
7:00 - Giggles walks in and wakes us up. We get dressed, not too tired since we all slept well.
7:20 - Head up to program side for flag/breakfast. We're all wearing our jeans and carrying our boots, sunscreen, bug spray, and water bottles. It's still about a mile or two from our cabins to Grey Koch (pronounced "grey coach"), the dining place. Some steep hills, but nothing too bad.
7:45 - Flag. The little kids do it today, so it takes forever and we're all starving.
8:10 - Ten minutes late for breakfast because of the slow little kids. The hoppers are being impatient. Whatever to them. ANYWAY we go into breakfast and eat. It's these amazing apple cinnamon muffins, toast, milk, orange juice, oatmeal, etc, etc. Good meal. We do capers.
9:00 - Go back down to horse side and basically learn how to mount and dismount, like it's possible to forget that sort of thing. Saddle Cowboy a few times to practice, and learn the quick-release in our spare time. My feet hurt from wearing the boots for 1.5 hours straight. Then we spread hay in the pastures (easy barn chore, for ONCE. Redd isn't lazy like Freckles is. Heehee.)
12:00 - Get to lunch. Eat lunch. It was Italian dunkers with some stuff. Do capers.
1:00 - "Me time", so I read my book for a while and write a letter, then get mad because I can't find my envelopes, which sucks.
2:00 - Go down to Lake Barbara (Barbie) for swimming. Take the swim test, where you swim the 100 feet or so to the middle of the pool/lake, tread water for a minute, then swim the rest of the way out to Winona, who gives you the last of the wristbands. They're these weird Church Mutual ones because they're running out of wristbands. Swim in the 2.5-foot-deep shallow end for the rest of the time.
4:00 - After taking a shower, go up to low ropes and do both the ropes course and the "Raging River", as well as Willow in the Wind and trust falls. A bunch of team-building stuff.
5:30 - Go back up to Grey Koch for flag and dinner, which consists of chicken strips and a bunch of sides. I sit with a bunch of people from my cabin--who I now know as Carly, Syl(via), Sam, and Megan--as well as Limbo and Andi and Sarah, who's 9 years old and not even 3 feet tall, weighing in at about half the weight of Veronica, my almost-3-year-old cousin. Not kidding; that girl is TINY.
6:45 - Practically fly down to horse side and go to the horse barn, where we got helmets and like spaz out for a little while, even though I become exempt from the spazzing when Redd walks up to me and goes, "Hey, Emily, are you OK with riding Denali again? Freckles said you were really good with her, and this is a level lower than you're used to, so you might be the only one that'd be able to control her..." Say yes, of course, since I love Denali (OKAY SO I'M BIASED NOW BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED LATER. SHUDDUP. :P).
7:10 - Groom and saddle Denali, not to mention Cowboy and Sampson because their riders are totally inept at saddling. Hug Denali hello and play with her mane while waiting for the slowpokes that STILL aren't done. Talk to Sam, who's riding Cookie-Jay (the name's a long story that I'm not explaining).
7:15 - Start walking. Denali's about 5th (out of 11). We do a few patterns, no trotting or anything yet. Serpentine, figure-8, centerline and crossline, 180 and 360, stuff like that. Would be pretty boring, but nothing's ever boring with Denali.
9:00 - Go back to the cabins and chillax for an hour or so. Nothing too spectacular.
TUESDAY
7:00 - Wake up and get ready for the day. Check the agenda and talk to Sam and Megan. Get dubbed "Erin" by this girl, Courtney, who decided that I don't look like an Emily and instead look like an Erin. Colleen (Courtney's friend) and Courtney decide to call me only Erin for the whole week.
7:45 - Get to Grey Koch. We do flag, and I'm the caller. Go into breakfast, which is eggs and sausage. Camp sausage is the BEST. Anyway, then we do capers.
9:00 - Head back to horse side to groom, saddle, and ride. We trot today, and to my surprise Denali doesn't once slip into a canter. Redd gives me some pointers on my posture, but otherwise looks kind of shell-shocked. I think it's for the same reason I'm surprised. On the other hand, horses like Alaska and Cowboy (both of whom are the wimpiest, easiest horses ever) canter for a few strides each. Alaska wouldn't canter unless you kicked him REALLY hard when he was already at a trot.
12:00 - Go eat lunch, which consisted of a ham wrap, Cheetos, an apple, and my water.
1:00 - Me time. Read my book and talk.
2:00 - Go swimming with Sam and Megan. Deep end's closed for half the time because supposedly a couple people're going to take the swim test, but of course they wimp out. Swim for about an hour and a quarter in the freezing cold water, which is about 10 degrees warmer in the deep end, which opened an hour into that time. Then take a (warm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) shower and dry off.
4:00 - Do archery. I got it into the red (right outside the bullseye ring) twice, the black (next one out) four times, and the white (next one out) twice. Used a lefty bow for like 2 shots, both of which totally shot off into the weeds. Great job, Emily (or Erin, as about half of my cabin-mates have taken to calling me).
5:30 - Flag and dinner. Seriously having mental problems and forgot what we had. Sorry.
6:45 - Walk down to horse side for chores. We scooped hay in the pasture.
8:00 - Horse science was supposed to start, but instead we continued to scoop hay. Redd was just like "What color is [horse name]?" a few times. I knew them all, and decided to shut up after a few answers. Then, when no one else knew, I started answering again to put Redd out of her misery.
9:00 - Head back to the cabins and get ready for bed. Read about 4 pages in my book and write a letter. Still can't find the stupid envelopes.
10:00 - Flashlight time. Mine is still dead.
WEDNESDAY
6:00 - Guess what? We got to wake up reeeally early today to ride. We get ready.
7:00 - Arrive at the horse barn and saddle up a couple horses. Does no one in my group know how to tie a four-knot? I now officially hate leather latigos. They suck.
7:10 - With my help, we saddle up in only 10 minutes and are off. We go on a trail ride, and I coax Denali into a triple-space, then (with only one klick [yes that's how you spell it]) I get her to trot for a few strides. I'm the 2nd horse, right behind Redd, who's riding Simon. Simon's a really pretty frosted App (or maybe a bay roan...but I think he's an App [for those who don't know, frosted Apps and bay roans look exactly the same, just are different breeds]) and he hates it when people are up his butt, but walks at a good pace. ANYWAY, Redd just laughed at me and told me that I had good control and much better posture.
8:10 - Done with the trail ride, and head to the upper arena for some individual and ring riding for the rest of the time. I get Denali into a really measured trot, and Redd's jaw almost unhinges. I crack up, and Denali starts nickering a little bit like she got it. I'm definitely better with her than before, and Redd's spazzing out to Giggles in the center of the arena.
8:30 - We head back to the horse barn to change out of our riding gear, then head down to Big Red (triple-storied barn) for a late breakfast of toast, fruit, orange juice, and these cute little mini bagels.
9:00 - We scoop poop and rake hay for chores, and do "the magazine activity" for horse science. Then we go to our cabins and -- joy of joys! -- change into shorts for the rest of the day. Wow!
12:00 - Head down to zee Grey Koch for lunch, where the counselors are all waiting outside with rolls of duct tape in their hands. Redd tapes my thumb and pointer finger together (on both hands, of course). I end up sitting at a table with Sam, Megan, Courtney, Winona, Redd, and Monty, as well as some younger girls from levels three and lower. We all have an...interesting time trying to eat honey BBQ chicken wraps with our taped-up hands, which supposedly simulate having no thumbs. Even though raccoons have them, and it was called a "raccoon lunch". Nice going, whoever named it.
12:30 - Capers start, and we take the tape off and do them. I'm dish carrier.
1:00 - Me time. I finish my book, then draw some pathetic attempts at horses, and do a weird collage thingy with me and Denali. I actually drew a fairly good horse in that one. Sylvia and Carly assure me that all of my drawings are good, but that's because they just turned 11.
2:00 - Swimming: deep end's open the whole time today, and we begged and pleaded to play Sink the Counselor. No luck; the canoes are down at Stone Lake. Oh, well. Still have a good time.
4:00 - Cooking time!! We go up to Grey Koch and into the dorm kitchens, where we bake some really awesome chocolate chip cookies. We each get 3, Giggles and Redd get 2, and the lifeguards and horse workers get 1 each. They're all warm and gooey and melty and amazing. (: Yum.
5:30 - Walk back to horse side and have a cookout. We made pizza pudgy pies and banana boats, and Redd was watching the fire and being really funny. We begin to get really hyper after having 2 chocolate-y desserts, and get really into laughing and stuff.
7:30 - After the very long cookout, which was super fun, we walk back to program side for art, where we make these weird scratch things that I immediately threw away. We were all really hyper, though, so it was really fun.
9:00 - Arrive back at the cabins and get ready for bed. Sort of. We're all really overtired and slaphappy, especially Syl and Courtney, so we're running around and doing Edward Cullen impersonations. I'm trying to get Syl to stop screaming and jumping off the table. VERY fun time.
10:00 - Supposedly lights out. We sit up and talk for a while, though, and do a few more Edward impersonations. Courtney dubs a few more people a few more names, and we finally fall asleep at almost 11. Oops.
THURSDAY
7:00 - Wake up at the normal time and get ready.
8:00 - Go down to breakfast--chocolate chip muffins and strawberries--and flag. It was really good. Sat with Sam, a bunch of random people, and Andi and Giggles. I "get" to sweep the floor around the table, which actually isn't a bad job, for a caper.
9:00 - We go do chores, which is washing water troughs. Then we learn about feeds and medicine, which I've only gone over ABOUT a million times before. But whatever. It was still cool.
12:00 - We head back in and go to lunch, which is "fun on the run"--I packed myself a turkey sub at breakfast, as well as some other stuff. It was tasteh.
1:00 - Me time. I write another letter and can't find the envelopes. Sam, Megan, and Carly can't either. It's a sad deal, people. Sad deal.
2:00 - Swimming, as usual. I buy this cool light-up thing, a keychain "liscense plate" that says "Elk River" on it, and a stick pen at the lake-side store, and take a really long, warm shower. I'm still scared that the showers were warm every single time. Barbie's showers are NEVER warm. Ever.
4:00 - We cook again, and make these cool things called apple spinners. We melted brown sugar and butter together, then drizzled that and marshmallow taffy over some granny smith apples. It was really good, but when Limbo walked through, Carly and I gave our last pieces (one each) to her because we'd had 2 scoops of the brown sugar mix, which was way too sugary. Limbo thought it was great.
4:30 - Done with the food, we play this game called Sleeping Prey where one person like walks around and tries to make people laugh. So Courtney got up, and I laughed at her because she's hilarious. So I stood up and walked over to Danielle and crouched down to tell a random story. "So I was walking to the park with my friend Kirsten -- not Kiersten, KIRSTEN -- and it was a pretty long walk. But we got there, and..." She laughed. I moved on to Carly. "We got there, and when we got there we got on the swings. The swings were REALLY fun. And then we fell into a sand pit." Suddenly, every single person in the room started clutching their guts with uncontrolled laughter. I'm not kidding. They thought it was THAT funny.
4:45 - We go outside to flag, where Danielle tells me to go up to Limbo and Redd and tell them my story. Basically, after we fall into the sand pit -- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, go the people in my cabin. O.o, goes Emily -- we walk around in a labyrinth of caves and finally make it out when someone hears us yelling from the water fountain, and gets it ripped up and lowers a rope down. Mhm. Limbo asked if we met any animal friends down there, and Redd was just looking at me in this amused-but-weirded-out way. *nodnod*
5:00 - We ate a dinner of pasta and whatever else, which was really good as usual.
6:00 - Head back to horse side and ride, ride, ride. We trot the weaving poles, and I do it at an extremely controlled trot to freak Redd out. It works--she gives me this super, super incredulous look before trying to compose herself and go, "That was really good, Emily." Then a few minutes later, after she talked to Giggles for a little bit (I heard the words "Denali" and "never" a few times), she turned back to me and said, emphasizing it really heavily, "That was REALLY good, Emily. REALLY good job."
6:10 - Sam/Helga and Cookie Jay start trotting the weaving poles, and suddenly Cookie starts to spaz out. He goes to the middle and starts trotting in a circle, and Sam's like "HOLY CRAP", but kind of quietly. Redd has to go over and grab his lead rope, then Sam gets off and sits on a barrel while Redd runs Cookie through the poles again, as if to tell him that he can't get away with slacking off. For the rest of the time, Cook's a little angel, and whenever he stops, he glances over at Redd to make sure she's not coming over. Teehee.
7:30 - We hear screams coming from the cabin area, and they don't sound like the kind of screams you hear when someone nearly gets caught during tag. We're all nervous, but kind of shrug it off.
9:00 - The rest of the lesson is uneventful except that I got a 2.54 on my Spiral, which is only 55 hundreths of a second away from the record. Then we head back to our cabins...
9:10 - ...and find out the reason behind the screaming. There was a hornet's nest about 10 feet away from our cabin, and Sam's sister's group was playing Charades and stepped in it. Most of them got 2 stings, some got 1, and one person got 3.
9:30 - They taped it off and forbid us from so much as talking about it, so when someone came into the cabin from the bathroom (not naming names...) and opened the window to see, Winona--usually a mellow, bubbly person--came in and screamed at us.
9:50 - Winona comes in and apologizes, saying that she'd had a lot to do and that we were by far not the only ones she'd yelled at. Then she gave us all hugs and told us to just go to sleep and not worry about it, and that they'd sprayed the holes with nearly a gallon of insect killer, so they should all be dead.
10:00 - We all passed out, basically, despite plans to stay up until "at least midnight". I woke up briefly to Carly and Syl digging around in their bags, but fell back asleep in a few minutes.
FRIDAY (today)
7:00 - Woke up, got ready, etc. You know the drill by now. ;)
7:45 - CITs did flag, and I requested Murray the Rabbit Boy, which I know for a fact is Redd's favorite song. It's definitely mine, anyway, and all the counselors were like "Ohmygosh I forgot all about that song!! I love that song!!" which made me happy. We sang some other decent songs, too.
8:00 - Went into breakfast, which was bagels and cream cheese, and grapes and toast and cereal. Sat with Andi, Redd, and Danielle, along with some little kids. We were all teasing Redd, and Andi kept stealing Redd's apple juice and drinking it. Redd like looked at her for a second, then laughed and kept eating. Twas very funny, and very yummy too. ;)
9:00 - Headed back to the cabins to pack. I took some pictures of Big Red and people and Little Red and a bunch of stuff, trying to waste pics. I also finished packing first, so I got the great honor of sweeping the cabin. Just in case you didn't know, the cabins/treehouses get REALLY disgustingly dusty and dirty and...just...disgusting. From half the room, I got the equivalent of like 2 weeks' worth of sweeping at meals. It's really gross.
9:30 - Starts raining out. We all get really nervous.
10:00 - We go out to the horse barn to prep the horses, and Redd and Frecks say that there's a good chance that there won't be a show. We go to Little Red and watch Spirit while eating popcorn and marshmallows and raisins and some of this honey-cinnamon cereal of some sort.
12:30 - We check outside, and it's still raining. We head back to our cabins and I play Mancala against Sam. I beat her 7-4 (games won).
2:10 - We do this weird skit and talk about what we learned in horse science and stuff. It was really pathetically sad and retarded. Basically we went like "I rode [name]. (S)he's a [color] [breed]. My favorite thing about them was [blankity blank]." And then we answered questions about meds, feed, breeds, etc, etc, etc. Very stupid. Then we got our stuff and left.
3:30 - Got home and went through my school supplies.
3:50 - Got online and talked to Kali and Rae.
THE END!!!!!!!!! Told you it'd be long. Took me like 4 hours to write, too, because I was talking to Kali and Rae while writing it. Kaliyan wants me to read Janet's story and update TT, Rae wants me to watch FMA and read Wing It, and...just chill, you guys. My god.
Buh-bye.

New Song
So I was just getting my cell phone from upstairs, and while I was walking up the stairs all of a sudden I started singing, out loud, "Will you stand by me-e-e, whenever I am down," which actually happens to me a lot, so I kind of thought of the chorus while I was unplugging my cell phone and walking back down, then I made up the verses just of the top of my head, trying to go with the storyline, and now I have a song. :D If I TRY to write songs, they all end up sounding the same, but when I just go from when I randomly start singing stuff...
SO ANYWAY, without further ado, this is my new song as of about a minute ago, titled "Stand By Me".
KEY:
, = lowish note
- = middlish note
* = highish note
> = hold it 1 beat longer
When two symbols are right next to each other, imagine eighth notes. When there's a space between them, imagine quarter notes. I guess. Sorta. Lol.
(So now you can sort of sing along if you use your imagination a little. :D)
I don’t know

Heehee. Failure.

So I was drawing on my markerboard last night, because I got bored and wanted to draw Skylar. And--lo and behold--I drew a REALLY GOOD one. As you can probably guess, that REALLY GOOD one is not the one up there (*pokes the pic with "FAIL" written underneath it*) So, yeah, that one failed. Go ahead, laugh; I know I did. I cracked up at myself cuz that drawing was so fail-tastic. But the other one, I swear, was amazing...especially for me, The Girl Who Can't Draw. But I'd think it was amazing ANYWAY.
But yeah, so that's your laugh of the day. Don't think you're laughing at me; you're laughing with me, and I'm probably laughing harder... :P
That's all for now. Just wanted you to see how badly I draw sometimes.
(At least the mouth is OK...but it's just a little slash-y thing...which 3-year-olds can--and do--draw. :D)

MEG and Me...
So I randomly decided to call Mr. Evil Guy "MEG" once today, and Rae totally got on the bus and loved it. And then she decided to draw Mr. Evil Guy and I...um, kissing, which may or may not happen, and she wrote "Meg <3 Emily" on it. Like, not "MEG", but "Meg". I was like "WTF RAE??? xDDDD"
Anyway. That's my random thing for today.
I've also found that Saint is hilariously funny, especially her Poetry Corner. And the Name Game.
Saint: You know who you can't play the Name Game with?
Fang: Do I wanna know?
Saint: Chuck Chuck bo Buck, Banana Fanna fo Fu--
Fang: We get it!
-a few more exchanges-
Saint: Can't do it with Mitch, either.
Anyway, yeah. Saint's awesome. She sang the McDonald's "Filet O' Fish" song, too, which I'd forgotten about...Made my day...OH. Here's a poem by her.
I suffer from crappy migraines
I hate them very much
When I have these stupid things
I am out of touch
Yeah, I know Max gets her headaches
But her's last for just a stitch
Mine last for hours and hours on end
And they hurt like a--
Fang: We get it.
Yup. She doesn't actually own Fang, but she apparently "kidnapped" him...so...ANYWAY. Saint rocks, and Meg's real name is NOT Meg. It's either Shane or Zane. Can't decide which right now. But I'm calling him Meg (when I'm not writing TT, that is. In TT he'll be Shane or Zane.)
Anyway...that's it. BYE!

To anyone who's taken the Mary Sue test...
...I just took it with a few characters.
I got 12 (I AM a wimp, stupid test, and I do poke fun at myself, but only because I think it's so pathetic that it's extremely funny. Anywayyyy...), Skylar got 29, and Edward (as in Cullen, yes, who is copyrighted Stephanie Meyer. I took the test because I despise him and thought that he was a Mary Sue when I read the first sentence about him [just for the record, yknow] in Twilight) got 154. No typo. One hundred and fifty four.
And the rubric says that over 50 or so is very, very bad, and that you should kill it dead and start over. Soooooo, bye-bye Edward.
