Randomosity

- So I was eating shrimp at this cool restaurant in Phoenix, AZ, and I swear it was like the exact same shrimp as on the cruise with Ryan, and he was doing his "shrimp thing," and I was all like doing the shrimp thing and stuff... I'll probably never eat shrimp again without thinking of Ryan. :D I also drove on Ryan Road for a while...
- When we were flying in for a landing yesterday, I saw my house. And my uncle was like waving, and it was cool and stuff. At least, I think it was my uncle. Some person, at least, was running around my yard.
- When we were going out of the airport and to the car yesterday, we had to go up these stairs into a part that's right above all the rest of the stuff (like the bag check lines and whatever). The whole place was totally unfinished, and I was like exploring. There was some cool stuff up there, but nothing like "OHEMGEEEEEE THAT'S SO KEE-WELL!!!!!!!" cool. Just "Cool," cool. *nodnod*
- Working on TT, just haven't had enough time to do a full-on draft. Basically, right now it looks like this: A few paragraphs of in-depth writing, word for word, in my horrible handwriting. Then a double-space and a short summary of what comes next (i.e: "-walk to stadium w/ S.; talk-"). A few more paragraphs, a couple small sketches, another short summary. Then about 2 pages of in-depth, and then my fingers got all cramped and I stopped writing and read some of "The Host", which is a really good book. Mmmmhm.
- I WANNA KNOW WHAT MY LATE B-DAY PRESENT IS, KALI. TELLLLL MEEEEEEEE PLEAAAAAASE.
- Spence got on for the first time in like forEVER today, for about 10 minutes. Then he left, and I sat around for 30 minutes. Then I got bored and left to write TT in my old Spanish notebook that I misplaced in October and just now found. Heck, it works. :P

And now for some quick messages to assorted people.

TO: Spencer
FROM: Kaliyan
MESSAGE: I want superpowers, please and thank you. (:

TO: Everybody
FROM: Spencer
MESSAGE: Get on, puh-lease. I get bored when no one's on and I'm just, like, sitting there being bored an' wondering where on Earth you people are. Jeezumses.

TO: Rae
FROM: Spencer
MESSAGE: This means you, m'dear. xD

And that's all. The end. Goodbye. ;)

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

P.S: Kali's a cake eater. xDDDDD

Paaaarrtay! (And circus)

Ok, here we go.
First I shall quickly just say that circus was fun. It was really cold in the big top. My friend/god-cousin(?) Lyd thought that Boc looked like George Lopez. I told Mikaela not to mess up in German wheel. She didn't. Madison did ok in acro. Her handspring was kind of weird, though. And stuff.
That was pretty neat, huh? Yeah, I know you thought so. And still do. And stuff. And NOW I'm gonna type about my birthday party, which just ended 53 minutes ago. We watched part of Benjamin Button, then got bored, then watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. We hung out and ate pizza and talked and laughed and played Truth or Dare for like 2 seconds. Then we sort of went to sleep for an hour.
Then we woke up and ate pancakes and bacon and stuff. Then everyone left but Kaliyan. Then Kaliyan layed on the floor and like bumped pillows into the air. It was very entertaining. And then......we talked and laughed and stuff. Then her dad came and she left. And now I'm sitting here being bored and wishing Spencer would come on. *pouts* He's always busy on the weekends. It's not very nice.
And now I shall post my presents. Because I feel like it and am bored.
- Awesome peace t-shirt from Kali
- SETH from...I can't remember who. xD
- Partini (game) from Claire
- Toblerone thing from Claire, too.
- Target gift card from someone.
- Barnes and Noble gift card from...Kali?
- Border's gift card from my aunt (a long time ago)
- Some more stuff.

The end.

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

A few notes...

Fine, Spencer, your bullet points are cooler than mine. Yours, however, undo the font. Mine don't. So there. Haha. You got iced/burned/beasted, as a guy would say. :D Here goes nothin'...

- A good thing at school. You're all aware of what I call "the Dare" by now, I'm sure, right? If not, go read some previous posts. Get caught up. Well, Jason showed up today, thank goodness, for the 2nd day. We started what he called "heated negotiation," and which everyone else in the world calls "arguing." I informed him of this. Well, anyway, he has to go for tomorrow morning AND afternoon (harder for him than it sounds) without doing anything remotely CLOSE to arguing, or even "heated negotiation." I've already got the Duct tape in my backpack.
- New flock Q and A (by popular-ish demand): Are they real? Still deciding. We're half-and-half right now, pretty much. Are they people from the OtherSide, or outside RPers? As I said, we don't know if they even ARE roleplayers or not. Where do they live? I don't know. Somewhere. Do they at least SEEM realistic to you? I'm no expert, but I guess so. They seem as realistic as anyone. How about the pictures? As I've said, I don't have any idea. I'm not good with that sort of thing. Ask Haley. Wow, you're really helpful. Thanks. :D
- And now for the circus show. Last night was the opening night of the blue show. Yippee. Basically what this means for me is: Get in the car after about 10 minutes of being home, drive to circus. Get ugly, goldarned costume on. Go down to the cow herd we so affectionately (NOT) call makeup. Get bright red and gold crap smeared on my eyes (TOTALLY doesn't go with a silver costume. I mean, are they colorblind?!) and ugly pinkish-red lipstick haphazardly placed on my entire lower face (><). Blush is completely one-sided and stupid looking. Then get hair loosely (LOOSELY) done up in twin French braids. Sit around for 45 minutes while the Danmeister yells at all the 3-year-olds, telling them to be quiet (as if). Then go sit in the dark for an hour in said ugly, goldarned costume (and a cover-up) and read book while fending off repeated attempts to take my light. Get up, flip around for 5 minutes, come back, sit down. Repeat said ordeal, just backwards. Drive home. Sounds like fun, right? Sure, it's tons of fun! Absolutely bucketfulls. For the AUDIENCE.
- BEST FOR LAST!!! Only the few who actually know me will think this is as funny and awesome and perfect and just...totally and completely unrealistically good as I do. Cuz I think it's darn good. Before each period of gym class, our teacher, Mr. Hohag (laugh now. It's HOYG, but many call him the 'Ho Hag. As in wh-- Never mind.) walks out of the boys' locker room, up the stairs, and into the gym that we're in. There is a ledge which you can overlook to watch and see when he is coming. The kids of 4th-hour gym enjoy doing this. Today, as Mr. Hohag was walking up the stairs, a glob of spit (Yes, SPIT) went flying over the railing and directly onto his head. The children of 4th core gym had already all run away, except for the few who were in the gym talking. They got to sit and wait the whole gym class while Mr. Hohag interrogated every single person. SUMMARY: Mr. Hohag got spit on!!!!!! On his HEAD!!!! On his stupid, evil, shiny bald head!! *rolls on the floor laughing* It's a god-send, I know it.
Peace, Love, and Llamas!

Yippee for Updates

Ok, well, I'm bored. So here we go.

- When I got on the bus this morning, Alex (the kid who walks home with me now) whispered, "Thank you," in this really serious tone to me, then turned around. Just thought I'd mention that. It was really creepy and weird and stuff, since he usually doesn't talk on the bus and then talks a TON on our ways to our houses.
- Went across the street to talk to Brady and Bennett, and got attacked by Jersey. Of course. *sigh*
- Spencer was on for a while, talking and being random.
- Got this cool quiz result: When the winds of change blow, you sense the outcome ahead of others, having seen so much before. Surprises come in smaller forms to you, as in the unexpected experiences of the senses, deepening your appreciation of the physical. You want life to last so you can explore your mature understanding of existence. You have become patient with the younger souls, understanding their paths and of the challenges they face. You forgive much, often acting as mentor without pushing your beliefs upon others. You give without great expectations of receiving. Love has become the most valued concept in your universe - this life may be your quest to perfect your ability to express and receive perfect love. Thoughts of dying do not fill you with dread, as you understand death is a part of life, and life is a process of becoming... so death is a graduation, not an end. At rest, you feel at one with the universe and are grateful for your current home, Earth. You have a heartfelt affinity for history - the connections to various periods throughout time are undeniable. Very old souls are adept at recognizing other old souls... mutual respect forms naturally between them. Cool, huh?
- I'm "on a boat."
- Emily completed the quiz "How Michigan are you?" with the result 100% pure Michigan. You are a local. You were either born in the state or moved to it so long ago it seems like you were born there. You share the ranks with Sinbad, Steven Seagal, and Tim Allen. I've never BEEN to Michigan, let alone lived in it. Ryan must have been a really good teacher or something, though, since I got all of the questions right.
- Yes, I've been taking a lot of quizzes on Facebook. They're fun, so I take them, ok?! :P
- New bird kid group; here's their blog. Isaac, Echo, Emilia, Jezebel, and Whisper, in order of age. And then there's Jason, who is Whisper/Amber's older brother and is normal. Echo and Issac are twins, and otherwise they're not related to each other, but are neighbors. They have powers, and we're 50/50 on our conclusion as to whether they're fake or not, according to their pictures.
- Spencer, Ryan, Richie, Jason(my Jason, not Whisper's brother), Jake(not Twilight), and Seth are all awesome! (Seth is the awesomest, of course, followed by the other people, in that order.) As are Gap, who were all sick today. ALL of them. I mean, how can 3 people be sick all on one day and not have one thought as to how lonely I would be if they abandoned me?! Well, I did have Brynn, Katie, Maya, Kim, Ellen, and a bunch more people, but that's not the point. Gosh.
- Circus show tomorrow. Ugh. Mikaela'd better be there.
- I'm bored, as usual, and have to do 20 questions and a 2-page essay for Mne by Thursday, because we have CALTs tomorrow. Why me???? :(
- Still bored.

Ok, that's it. Bye!

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

Super Randomness

So, here's some stuff about what's going on in my life. I know, super exciting, right? Right. *nodnod*

- We'll start things off with this REALLY random thing that I saw on the bus ride home, while hoping that my internet connection came back to life (yep, it died. Came back on only the desktop. YES, the one with the demented keyboard. Sigh). I was staring out the window and we passed this random house, which was surrounded by trees. You have to imagine this: It's a tannish house with a deep brown roof, and there are trees, lots of trees, all around it. The light there is dappled and tinged with green, and everything--EVERYTHING--in sight but the house is green. There's a lone tulip, sitting by the driveway. The tulip is bright red, seemingly iridescent. It was SO cool. And, bonus, a psychic moment, although I hadn't thought that I was having a prediction when I dreamed of it, because it was so unreal. Seriously, I like flinched, and Kaelin (a girl on my bus, OK friends with me) asked me if I'd hurt myself or something, then laughed when I said I'd banged my head on the window.
- Another psychic moment, this one in math class. I can't even remember what it was, now, but it was pretty cool. I mutter either, "PM," "Psychic moment!" or "I dreamt this," every time I have a prediction, and this time it was the second one. This guy who sits next to me, Jacob, goes, "What?" and I just shook my head. Then he stole my workbook and started drawing all over it. (We're sort-of friends.)
- Yesterday on the bus, Kaelin and I bet this cute-ish guy, Jason, that he couldn't go for three days without having an argument on the bus. If he won, we'd each give him a box of TicTac Chills (He loves TicTacs more than is probably healthy), and if he lost, we would get to duct tape his mouth shut for the entire week afterwards. Well, the bet started today, and of course Jason didn't show up. So it'll start tomorrow and he'll have to remember over the weekend. Although he probably already forgot.
- SPENCER IS BACK AND I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT BECAUSE I MISSED HIM SO DANGED MUCH!!!! (He made a new blog, too, if any of you haven't gotten the linkage.)
- Ryan's awesome, as I've made clear. He sent a letter back to me. His handwriting's purty cool if I do say so myself (although I'm pretty biased, I guess.)
- Torture Chamber continues to live up to its name. As does Mne.
- My birthday is tomorrow!!! Woooooot!
- I've got my circus performances coming up, and I am FREAKED OUT. Mikaela, my partner, hurt her leg on Monday and she doesn't know if she can perform. At tech and dress yesterday, Maddie and I did our routine through without her, and we did just fine, but I'm really nervous for the actual show. I mean, some tricks aren't really possible without either a) super-human strength on both my and Maddie's part, or b) 3 people. I mean, log with only 2: one middle and one side? Sorry, not happening. Ever.
- Speaking of circus, my costume sucks. It is, as mentioned before, a "silver full-body leotard." Translation: See-through spandex body suit with a few sprinkles of glitter, skin-tight, that includes a dog collar and these (also see-through, spandex, semi-glittery, and FAR too tight) arm bands that are way too long and go from my armpit to my wrist and make it insanely hard to grasp the bar, ropes, or body of my partner. We are 20-30 feet of the ground (on an uber-low trap, so we can't actually die, which makes me feel SLIGHTLY better), and if I drop Madison, she goes plummeting to a 2-inch mat, underneath which is concrete. Yes, rock-hard, skull-cracking concrete. Can't wait for the show to come and Mikaela to still have a hurt leg. ><
- SPENCER'S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *dances*

And now, without further ado, the sign-off...

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

Le Update!

Okay, I'm gonna jump right in today...
- This guy on my bus who pretty much keeps to himself, average-looking with glasses, named... Alex, I think, used to get off sometime after me, but lately he's been getting off on completely different stops--Once two before me, then three, then one, and finally he got off on my stop, and as we were walking (towards the bridge, for those of you who need specifics), I asked him why he got off on so many different stops, and he just shrugged and said that he lived "far away," but he liked going to Hyland Park, or Shoots and Ladders, or Purple Park, as some *coughkalicough* insisted on calling it. But yeah, he's actually pretty cool I guess.
- Going to Kaliyan's synchro swimming show tonight at 7:30. Not really much to say about that, but I hope it's good (it probably will be) and stuff. So, yeah.
- I'm not sure if I told anyone anything about it except Kaliyan, (who I told like 2 words of it before being interrupted by something or another,) but there's this guy named John, who's an idiot (here I was interrupted) at my school, and my friends Maya, Genesis, and Brynn (and I) came up with this idea that Maya should bring this jalapeno sucker thing and give it to John, since she's the only one that had even the slightest chance of being taken seriously. John would be like, "No, I don't want your stupid sucker!" if I tried. And I would laugh. But ANYWAY, Maya gave John the sucker, telling him it was strawberry, but he hasn't eaten it yet. Monday, hopefully. It's in his locker.
- OLIVIA IS A BYOTCH. I HAD TO SAY THAT, ALTHOUGH I REALLY DOUBT ANY OF YOU KNOW HER. UGHHHH.
- So is Ms. Dexter, for that matter. I knew that before, but while we're on the subject of byotches...:D Anyway, yeah. Social studies teacher. All of us groan after reading, which rocks, when we're walking down the stairs and someone goes, "Ready for SS?" Then we slap that person. Which usually is me, because it's funny.
- And NOW, while we're on the subject of evil teachers, I will mention the one who got nicknamed because of his evilness. Mne, or Mean 'n' Evil, the English teacher. I'm pretty sure he tortures us on purpose. Now that I think of it, I'm positive that he does. I'm completely serious. His pasttimes include things such as: dissing students in front of the class, (I kid you not. This is usually hilarious, but not when it's you.) literally HIDING behind corners on the way to lunch and grabbing your arm to stop you if you're running and keeping you in a group until lunch is basically over, (Not EVER hilarious.) and keeping us, his fifth-core class, 10 minutes late for no reason besides the fact that he enjoys watching us squirm. And listening to our stomachs digest themselves.
- I'm eating fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies. They're tasty. I'm drinking A&W root beer. That's tasty.
- It's Friday!!!!!! YAY!!! And--for the first time since probably before the second week of school--I don't have to do an essay for Mne. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
- LIFE. IS. GOOD.
- Twin Telepathy (*click*) is coming along smartly, but I don't really feel like writing today. So there.

That's all for today, folks! Bye!!

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

Quiz Results and Sleepover Stuff

Okay, so I took the 'which element are you' quiz. And my result was AWESOME. (Just wanna share it with you right now)
|
v
Congratulations, friend! You are Aether, you rarest and most mystical of all the elements. Metaphysical, otherworldly, supernatural, whichever way you slice it, you are one special soul. Whereas other people have experienced the odd circumstance or random weird event, your life is defined by them. You rely heavily on an intuition that has hardly ever let you down. Sometimes your thoughts and dreams could be considered downright psychic. Having such a unique set of gifts comes at a price though. Mainly a two-way skepticism between yourself and just about everyone else in your world. Finding people who understand you becomes a daily internal struggle and one that follows you wherever you go. Since your element is one supposedly beyond earthly comprehension it is up to you (as well as others) to work to build a bridge of understanding. Your place in the world: You are the ethereal entity blessed (or cursed) with the task of opening the eyes of a closed-minded world to the world they have blinded themselves to.

Cool, huh?!
-Kaliyan, her blog, a long time ago

So, I took a quiz on Quizilla a few days ago (and was being lazy, so didn't post it) and I'm 99.9% sure it's the same one, because I got that too, as my result! So yeahhhhh. And I'm bored, and my computer is being retardo, and I'm really really hyper even though I was up all night last night at a sleepover birthday party.
Which, by the by, was really fun. Basically we played Sardines, Lazer Tag (the COOL kind, with the wicked awesome receptor guns and shields, with strength and ammo and everything), more Sardines, Kick the Can/Bucket, and yet MORE Sardines. And then we watched a bunch of movies--can't even remember them all--before going outside at about 2 in the morning to tell ghost stories and make s'mores around a bonfire.
And then I played pyromaniac and set a bunch of leaves and sticked on fire, which is why I still smell like fire, even after like 3 showers. I set leaves, sticks, grass, and even the occasional piece of a log on fire while Erin, Claire, Rachael (Ruh-KELL), and a bunch of other girls laughed at me. Finally I convinced Erin and Claire to join me in the fire-setting, but they stuck to leaves. *sigh* Scaredy-cats. xD

Anyway, that's all for now. Just wanted to tell y'all. ;)

Randomness!

Okey doke, so I'm bored. Therefore, I shall post random facts about my life right now.

- Ryan is awesome.
- Reading Twilight; it's better than I thought it would be, but the order is way different than the movie, and stuff, and yeah... I remain glued to my resolve that Edward is too perfect and ruins the story, and that Bella is too helpless, a total damsel in distress, and also ruins the story. Ugh. But Jake is awesome (even though the book totally goes down from like a 7.5 to a 6.5 cuz there's no Seth. Hel-LO?! Seth!!!!)
- Ryan is awesome.
- Kaliyan's in Grand Rapids, Joey's in Florida, Adam's... somewhere on vacation, Rachel's (as usual) in California, and Pyro (who I keep spelling "Pryo" for some reason) is (as usual) in Florida. I'm stuck in Bloomington. :( Then again, I went on a cruise before, while everyone else was stuck at home, so I shouldn't be so sour 'bout it. :D
- Ryan. Is. Awesome.
- Joey just admitted to me that he's annoying. Kind of. He goes "hey emily i just realized something", and I go "What's that?" expecting some profound something about spectres and shaydes and whatever. But instead he goes "that i can be really annoying". I, of course, reply with an "xDDDDDDD". I mean, seriously. He finally figured it out.... xD Just kidding, just kidding. Sort of.
- Ryan's awesome!
- To ruin the cheerful mood of this post, Christian is back. Yes, he's back at Olson. You can't even imagine my anguish when I walked into reading yesterday to find him cheerfully plopping (xD LA) into a seat near the back. UGH. He's not in math or language arts any more, since he flunked out of honors (thank God), but he's still in one core class and 3 out of 3 exploratories, including art. Ugh; on B-days that's like 3 hours of Christian, 2.3 of which are spent in a small room while doing things that only occupy your hands--such as painting or drawing--AND with only 13 total people in the room. :(
- RYAN IS AWESOME!!! Betcha didn't get that yet.
- And.... that's actually pretty much it. I had more to say than I thought I would, though. :D

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

April 14, 2009

Update - 4/14/09

Whoopee, an Update!!! Yay. :D

- Okay, so before I forget, I had a case of REAL deja vu. I don't say I get deja vu all that often; mostly I just say I had a prediction. But this time it's real deja vu. Like, it's happened in real life before, and now it happened again. And it wasn't EXACTLY the same, but it was similiar enough to make me remember the last time. So this time, we were riding along on the bus and I was listening to the radio, and then it went to commercial, and the commercial was for like a new pill that replaces chest surgery or something. So everyone was talking, and I was listening with mild amusement to the commercial, and all of a sudden there was one of those pauses where everyone randomly stops talking, RIGHT as the person on the radio goes, "for sexy, full, and completely attractive breasts..." Everyone -- and I mean EVERYONE -- cracked up. It was so funny.
- We had a HECTIC day on the meebo. 7-12 people were online from like 4:20 till 5:00(when I left) Central. For real. It was crazeh!!!
- Just went to dinner with Archbishop Flynn, who is a really nice guy--and a great cook--with a super-cute dog named Chivon. My mom is good friends with him, so we went to dinner with him. It was good, too. As I've said.
- And... um... I don't really have much more to say. Just felt like posting. :D
Sooooooooo BYE!!!

Peace, Love, and Llamas!
-Emiliano

April 13, 2009

RYAN

As I've said about a trillion times, there was this dude on my cruise named Ryan, and he was awesome. He's got Spencer's sense of humor--and alleged good looks--but he's more sensitive and takes things seriously when they need to be. Plus, he doesn't know when to back off. Spencer does. Ryan doesn't (referring to "the Bet", here, folks).
ANYWAY, up there is a pic. It's a really crappy pic, but whatever. He's way cuter than he looks in there, let's just say that. d:
So yeah. Just wanted to post a Ryan picture. :D

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

April 12, 2009

Guess who's home?

MEEEEE!!!!
I know, that was a hard question, huh?
Anywho... I'm home, and I'm online, and I'm happy.
But I have school tomorrow, which ruins the mood. >< AND I have a science project. Stupid bean plants taking up a ton of my time. Gosh. :P
And and and and and and and and and and RYAN. He's awesome. And stuff. And I have his email, so if anyone wants his email, just ask me and I'll give his email to you. But I don't want to post it on here in case some stalker comes on. Cuz stalkers are weird and stuff, and I doubt that Ryan would want a stalker emailing him. So just ask me on like the meebo or YIM or something and I'll tell you his email.
And and and and and and and and and and stuff.
And more stuff.
And even more stuff.
And -- guess what? -- even MORE stuff.
And goodbye.

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

On my way home!!!

Okay, so here I am in Miami, on my mom's Blackberry, and I just felt like posting real quickly.
- So Ryan, this hot guy on my cruise' and I are friends now. Long-distance, but I'll live. I have his email address and everything!! Muahahaha.
- I board the plane in t-minus 20 minutes, and then I'm headed HOME!!!!
- The cruise was okay. More about that later, when I have an actual keyboard to type on, with keys that are larger than ant droppings.
- Ugh. I have school on Monday. And CIRCUS. After my minimum-to-begin-with arm strength is ALL GONE. :'(
- I read a grand total of 8 books in the last 6 days, and am halfway through a ninth. OH yeah!! ;)
- Gotta go! Off to the plane!!! I will tell you guys more later, again, when I get my hands on a real keyboard. :P

BYEZ FOR NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peace, Love, and Llamas!
-Emileeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

April 5, 2009

Hi from Miami!!!!

Hre I am in Miami, sailing out into the sunset on my first day of the cruise. While I've got computer access, I'm going to note a few major happenings (so FAR, anyway)....
- The hotel in Miami was cool, much better than the last one of its kind that I stayed at. There was a grand total of 3 hot boys in the hotel, and 1 UBER-hot boy at the airport. Just thought I'd mention that.
- As it so happens, one of the hot boys at the hotel is on my cruise, and at my dinner table. So I'm sitting right next to him every night for an hour, and it's almost mandatory to talk. His name is Ryan, and he's 12 today. Cool, huh? He looks kind of like what I imagine Spencer to look like, I guess. But he's cute, anyway, and close to my age.

-Started moving 2 hours late, but we're bookin' it to make up for the delay. I got my sea legs in about 3 minutes; I basically HAD to, or I'd fall over.
- Heading to Key West to go parasailing -- Yippee!!! Can't wait.
- God, it's hot. Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot...
- I just realized that I was kinda-sorta by Pyro. Hi, Pyro!!! *sails away from Pyro* Oh. Um, bye Pyro!!!!
- I'm just kind of hanging out. The keyboards here are evil, but I'm still typing like the wind, probably thanks to a lot of practice (go Resistance for helping me with my typing skills!)
- I'm posting this email, too, just for those of us who aren't on my mailing list
- TO THOSE THAT I LEFT IN MINNESOTA:::: Haha. Well, okay, so I feel bad, and I'm hoping for your sakes that it doesn't snow or anything. And... stuff.
- TO ALL:::::: Seeya in 6 days at the most, back on my good ol' Dell!

Creeper Dude, Pianist, and "the Finger Thing"

QUICK NOTE: When you see a *, just go to the bottom of the post. (It's in the second paragraph, 'Pianist'.)
Okay, so the title of this post is a little wacky for some of you. Explanations are coming up.

Here's an explanation of the first part, "Creeper Dude".....
- I've told some people--but I'm not sure EXACTLY who--about this dude who, last month, followed me home from the bus stop in his car. I named him "Creeper" (or "Creeper Dude"). Guess what? He came back today. Even though I got a new bus stop, closer to my house, since last time, it's still a little ways (5 yards or so). And his car was waiting in the culdisac, just sitting there like my mom's does in the morning, except WE'RE waiting for the bus to come. So I get of the bus and (sort of nervously) walk home, and--of course--his car is creeping along right next to me. He's got tinted windows, but he's definitely a man. And his license plate is totally covered up, so I can't take his number. Exactly like last time. I keep walking, and I go into my house via the garage as usual. Then he leaves. I know it's not all that exciting to you guys, but you guys are reading about it, not walking home with a freaking car driving along at 4mph right next to you. SO freaky.

And NOW, get ready for a change of tone.
This story is really funny (if a little had-to-be-there).........

- So I'm in reading class earlier today. We do normal stuff, like turning in our Reading Charts, doing a Journal, whatever. Same-old, same-old. But then my teacher (who is the best reading teacher in the WORLD), Mrs. Gillis, stands up in front of the class and says "Since it's the last reading day before spring break, I thought we'd play a game for part of the class; about 20 minutes or so. It's called the 'Hostage Game'"* And she explained the game, and passed out these sheets. There were 8 'hostages' and there was a little bio about all of them. One was a 19-year-old who was a piano prodigy or something. The other people in the class were reading the bios out loud--and the people in my reading class (mostly) 4th-grade readers. So this one kid is reading, and goes, "Alana Brecken is 19 years old. She is a successful pee-ANN-oh-ihst..." And Mrs. Gillis looked up and corrected them (and it was REALLY fast. Like, a split second. So it was hard to understand). She said, "PEE-ann-ihst."
And then this kid named Carter (who is literally like 4'2") looks at her really funny and goes, "She's a WHAT?!"
D'you get it?
If you don't-- too bad. If you do-- Isn't it a knee-slapper? Ahahaha... *slight sarcasm*
Told you it was a had-to-be-there.

OKAY! And now for the Finger Thing...
- There's this kid on my bus named Alex, and he's like Austin's personality clone, just without the whole physical-ness. (If you haven't heard my Austin schpeal, then never mind. Alex is cool, anyway.) Yesterday we were just sitting around and Alex all of a sudden went, "Wanna see something really cool?" I shrugged and he held up his finger and did this really awesome thing, where the top knuckle was totally like... liquid-y. "Wanna touch it?" he asked, and -- of course -- I touched it. That was just... SO COOL. The knuckle slides down like a whole centimeter or something, and the tip of your actual finger replaces it, so you can flick your finger around. It's SO COOL. And then he does this weird thing where he makes his finger all tense, and the skin in the back puckers up in this dent and it was literally in the shape of a Z, and it was wicked awesome. And then he told me that EVERYONE can do the jell-o finger thing (the first thing), and -- of COURSE -- I asked how. And then he told me. And it's even more fun when you're the one doing it! :D Except I'm really bad, and he's REALLY good, but whatever. It's still fun.

Some extra notes
- I'm going on a cruise on Saturday! That's 2 or 3 days, depending!!!!!!!!!!
- Happy birthday to Kali today! (:

* = At this point I muttered, in a slightly annoyed tone, "I lost the Game," which resulted in a few "What? We haven't started playing yet!"s and 2 or 3 loud groans. It was really evil that Mrs. Gillis said it, but it was more-than-a-little hilarious that no one lost but me, and then I made 2 people lose. Like no one plays the Game in my school.
Oh, by the way, I lost again, by explaining this to you.
ALSO: More about this in another post, which I posted a little while ago.

The Hostage Game

If you read my LATEST post, you'll know the beginning. If not, go read it.

Here goes nothin'...

....But then my teacher (who is the bestest reading teacher in the WORLD), Mrs. Gillis, stands up in front of the class and says "Since it's the last reading day before spring break, I thought we'd play a game for part of the class; about 20 minutes or so. It's called the 'Hostage Game'"* She pauses, then adds, "Everything from this second forward is completely pretend... I scared a few kids yesterday." We all snicker, because 'yesterday' means 7-2. Haha. Anyway, we all nod while we snicker and she explains the game.
Basically she chose 8 of us randomly -- I was one of the 8 -- and gave us these weird name slip thingies to put around our necks. They were laminated, and mine said "Senator Jan Snyder" or something. Then she told us to go out in the hallway, which we did. Then I sat in the hallway for a while, before coming in and watching other stuff happen. Lucky me. The rest is as recorded by Genesis, who is my awesome friend from school......
when the 8 people went out in the halway mrs gillis passed out these sheets with all the names on them and then there was little discriptions of the people on them. they were like characters i guess or something but emily's was like some senator who was really well liked and probably was going to be the first women president and she was like helping pay her parents morgage and stuff. she was 37 i think maybe 36. any way so mrs gillis read the sheet to us and she was like "the 8 people in the hall way are-- wait i'll explain that later. so a plane has been high jacked. on the plane is a pilot 3 high jackers and 8 hostages." then we all got who the 8 people were in the hall way. "and the high jackers say that they will let 4 of the hostages go for free if they could land and refeul for free at a goverment place and then take the plane with the other 4 people. the other 4 people we must assume are going to be left for dead. your job is to write down the order of the people you want saved acording to the information on your sheet." so i did and i cant remember what people i put but it was like this preist dude then emily's lady (NOTE FROM EM: No one knew who was who. Like, Genesis had no idea that my nametag was the senator; all the class people knew was that each person in the hallway was someone from the sheet.) and then this modil lady and then a teenager piano player person. (EM: Haha... pianist. Haha...) any way then we all put our results on the marker board and then we took the most populer people and we chose them to be saved so it went like this:
(Everything from now on is Em. Thanks, Genesis!!!!)
- Father John Gollas (The Priest)
- Senator Jan What's-Her-Face (That'd me moi.)
- That teenager peni-- I MEAN pianist.
- Becka Bert (or something. The model lady.)
So then Mrs. Gillis came out in the hallway and goes, "I need the following people; look at your nametag to see if you're the person. Father John Gollas, Jan [insert last name here], [teen pianist], and Becka Bert. You four can come inside, in that order. So Father John--Chris Gerhardson, come on in. I'll tell you when, Emily." So Chris went in first, and Mrs. Gillis said some stuff, and then she waved at the door, and I went in.
Then she went, "This is Senator Jan [last name]. She has been saved from the hijackers, because she came in second place." Meanwhile I stood there, feeling really dumb because I had no clue what she was talking about. "You can sit down, Em- Ah, Jan." Then I sat down and Genesis grinned at me.
And then more people came in. It was really dumb, but fun anyway. Beeker was complaining about not getting blindfolded or anything. She thinks being held captive would be kind of fun. I dunno, it would be pretty freaky, but I guess it could be exciting too..........

THE END. BYE. ADIOS.

March 20, 2009

Okay, folks.

Okay, folks.
It's official.
I am officially really happy.
Really, really happy.
Because.............
- I'm going to Kaliyan's birthday party after all, AND we're celebrating our 11th anniversary in September!!! I know! It's major, peepz! (We missed our decade anniversary, so we're gonna have the best partay ever for our 11th. Mhm. You wish you could be there.)
- I finished MAX in 2 days, which is admittedly the longest time it's ever taken me to read a Maximum Ride book (the first time, when it's all like "OMG WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN???" and stuff, that is). It was good. Still global warming-y, but good. And then my friend Shelby stole my library book of it and is now reading it. But the library won't care, because she'll probably finish it in like 3 days too. So whoopee!
- I. Am. Wearing. Capris. My very favorite capris EVER, from last summer. And they still fit me perfectly. And they still don't feel like I'm wearing pants (in the good way. Like, I can feel them but they don't make me any warmer. Which is good for me, since I'm Jacob Black's temperature, all the time. ALL THE TIME. Darned Colorado, making its citizens be boiling-blooded. ><) But ANYWAY, they're the bestest capris ever and they still fit.
- Hel-LO?? It's officially spring!!!!!!!!!
- I. Am. Wearing. My. Favorite. Capris.
- I rediscovered an awesome song. :)
- We went on this wicked awesome field trip today, and had lots o' fun, and I made lots o' friends.
- It's FRIDAY!!!!!!!
- I only have 15 effin' days (including today, which is basically over) until I go to effin' Miami. And then, after one half of a day in Miami, I shall go to the EFFIN' CAYMANS!!! After which I shall go to the effin' Bahamas. Then guess what? I'm goin' to Jamaica, mon. And then, *tear*, I'm coming back to good ol' MN. Which isn't actually all that *tear*ful any more, because it's 60 out right now, and I <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3 it when it's 60 and so windy that it'll knock me off my feet. Which it is. So YAY!
- Um.. It's Friday! :D

And that's pretty much all! Thanks for reading my self-centered post! :D

Peace, Love, and Llamas!

Spring Has Sprung in MN!

Author's note:
If someone was to ask me, "I've heard that there's only 1 season in Minnesota: Winter. Is that right?", I always reply, "There are actually 4 seasons in Minnesota, as you'll be surprised to hear." Before they answer, I quickly continue. "They are called "Almost Winter", "Winter", "Still Winter", and "Road Construction"." Now is the season that we seasoned Minnesotans usually call "Road Construction", because it's the one time of year when the roads aren't frozen solid, so nearly every major road is torn up at about this time. But guess what? People are actually using the word "Spring" for the current time! I'm surprised, I must say, but I've also used such a word. It's foreign, yes, but has now been tainted with Minnesotan accents for the first time in years....
-Emily McGivern; 7th grade awesome person.

Okay, weird title. But here's what I was going to do...

OH MY EFFIN GOD!!!!! I JUST WENT OUTSIDE IN A T-SHIRT AND JEANS, AND GUESS WHAT?????? I DIDN'T TURN INTO A STATUE OF ICE! INSTEAD, I JUST STOOD THERE!!! IN A T-SHIRT!!! AND WAS FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?
Boys and girls, ladies and gents: It's a Minnesota spring!!! (Aka: It'll either blizzard again by tomorrow, or it'll be 100 degrees by next week.) Ya never know - I was born in May, and I've had birthdays where I went sledding, and birthdays where I coulda gone to the beach, or an outside pool.
Of course, I've also had actual spring birthdays... but out of my 11, only 2 resembled anything like spring. You know, the 60 degree weather, wind, little bit of rain? My very favorite. I love it when it's 60 degrees - not one more, nor one less - and the wind could tear your hair right out of your scalp. I love those days.
And one of those days was on Sunday. That exact type of day. 60 degrees, on the dot, not 1/10 of a degree off. VERY windy. It was such a nice change from 10 degrees and blizzarding. I literally went sprinting up and down the road, yelling "IT'S WARM!!!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?! FOR IT TO BE WARM!!!!" Yup. It was quite a sight to see, I bet.
I wasn't on MY street, though... I was running up and down a street that really, really rich people live on: I was touring mansions. And it was really fun... I even found one with a high-up tower to fit my very needs! ;) Anyway, yeah, it was called the Parade of Homes. It was fun. It was also the first in 5 years where it wasn't either pouring rain or hail or snow. Amazing.
So... yeah. I don't really have ALL that much to say. The entire few paragraphs above are basically just "It was 60 out on Sunday, it got to freakin' 72 yesterday, and it's exactly 58.8 degrees out today. Heaven has made its way to Bloomington, Minnesota, folks.

And that's my post. Now, Armin, it's your turn. (Long story. Inside joke. If you were Brynn, Paige, Genesis, or anyone else in my Tech Ed class [only Brynn was in my Tech class, but the rest know about it], you would get it.)

Peace, Love, and Llamas!
-A VERY happy Emiliano

The Play, the Potluck, and the Cast Party

Here's the exciting story of the play, the 'potluck', and the cast party.

The Potluck
- Okay, so there was this "potluck". I was told about it when we were in the changing room getting into our costumes before the actual show, before green room, before everything. It was going to be during intermission in the girls' dressing room. From the way people talked about it (nonchalantly), I figured that it was fine with the directors and stuff. I also was told to stay in my spot after the bows and stuff, because everyone was going to present the co-directors, the costume ladies, and the student director with flowers in front of the audience.
- Well, come to find out in the middle of the first half that it was TOTALLY not okay with the directors, because everyone was whispering and talking about how much trouble they (NOT me. Not a chance.) would be in if they got caught. Come intermission, everyone rushed to the dressing room except for the smart people (including me, Brynn, Katie V., and Allison B.), who stayed in the backstage holding room.
- A few minutes through, I went into the dressing room later, because I'd forgotten my hair clip (and noticed during the last song of first act. I know, I'm so observant.) and had to get it from my bag. There was a circle of girls, mostly popular ones but some not-so-popular ones, each with a HUGE bag of chips, cookies, candy, and even a few people with actual JARS of frosting. I almost barfed right there. So I got my hair clip and went back to the H.R., where I told Katie about what I saw. She gagged just hearing about it.
- Then Katie and I went down to the costume room to get one of her buttons fixed. Yay, super-important. Then we went back to the H.R. to told everyone else, and Robyn (this REALLY annoying girl) was like "Oh em gee! I am telling MaryJane about this." And then she walked out of the room, and I came with. Turns out that she ran into Stephanie (the other costume lady) first, and she spilled the beans, with me adding details every few words. Then Stephanie went down the hallway, we went back to the H.R. to wait it out, and the "lookout" for the dressing room totally freaked out and ran into the room.
- Well, they hid all the food (really badly) and said that they were "practicing the songs" when they were asked why they were all in there. Stephanie didn't buy it, but no one got in all that much trouble. Later on, I heard that MaryJane thought that they were doing drugs! xD
- Anyway, then Kelsey (another really annoying girl, who's practically glued to my side most of the time) comes into the H.R. and goes, "Oh gosh, I hope I don't get in trouble for the potluck. I had like one chip." She looked really worried. I almost fell down laughing. When I'd walked in to get my clip, her mouth had been absolutely exploding with a variety of things, and she'd been reaching into a huge bag of Oreos as she munched. So I told her what I saw, she denied it (of course), and we finished the second half. All was normal.
The Cast Party
- After the bows and the flower-giving and stuff, we all ran to the dressing room, changed at the speed of light so that we could get to the cast party. The idiots who started the potluck were still gourging themselves. When everyone FINALLY cleaned up (including a trio of really dumb sixth graders who decided to go get a 20 minute-long drink right when the directors were coming in to check that we were cleaned up), we went to the lunchroom to get started.
- We all ate 2 pieces of this REALLY good pizza, drank about 4 cans of Mtn Dew each, then got up to dance. We danced for a while, did "trivia questions" (I got a $10 DQ gift card for answering "How many holes does a 10-pin bowling pin have?" I mean, no DUH!!), and finally -- FINALLY!! - did mock awards.
The Mock Awards
Mock Awards are basically these little tiny pieces of colored paper with a random thing about you on them. (A few examples: Robyn was "Hyper Honey", Kelsey was "Tag-along" [HECK YES!!!!], and Brynn was "Look-alike Lady" [because of her older bro, Bryce, who was the lead last year.]) I got "One-Hat Wonder", because I wore my hat to almost every practice. I knew it was going to be about that hat... I knew it!! xD No, literally, right when they started the Mock Awards I whispered to Katie, "Watch mine be like "Hat Girl" or something." Anyway, they were really fun.

And that's pretty much it... I stayed at the party until about 2am or so, when they all but kicked us out the door. Katie went home at midnight, Kelsey (thank goodness) went home at 12:30, and Brynn stayed the whole time. Paige and Genesis didn't try out, even though Genesis has a rockin' voice. :(

ADIOSES!

Peace, Love, and Llamas!
